My favorite scene is the final scene from 4x02 "Storm Front II" with Enterprise surrounded by all of the smaller Earth ships. It is a fitting end to all that has occured in the Xindi and time travel incidents.

Sorry about that. When I counted, I used the arrow keys in the post and the quote was on more than one line. There is an extra keystroke needed to get to the next line that does not count a character. Thanks for the correction.

This might not make much sense but here goes. It has a scientific slant to it. I think the meaning of life is "To boldly go where no one has gone before" Without progress, we are all cavemen and life is pointless, in my opinion. We must keep progressing in order to at least think there is meaning in life. I mean honestly, how many of us would like it if we hunted the same animal every day for our entire life. To me, cavemen did not enjoy and appreciate life because they did not progress(at least until the Ag. Rev. in ~3000 B.C.) As Newton said "If I have seen farther it is by standing on the shoulders of giants." Newton lived life, along with the other great developers and philosophers. The (mostly)French thinkers of the late 1700's lived life to the fullest, even though they might have been executed. You cannot truly live life if you sit around and do nothing for the world. Extremely freaky fact: "To boldly go where no one has gone before" has exactly 42 characters including spaces.

I thought this was an excellent movie. It made 4 5 & 6 so much better. I was amased at the amount of irony in it though. Vader being born as Padame is dying, the Obi Wan/Anakin fight and the Yoda/Chancellor fight, Luke's uncle standing on the crater looking at the sunset as Luke does in 4, and many more I can't think of at this moment. Overall a great movie, but I agree, there is too much time between 3&4. That might not be bad though, how interesting would Luke's childhood be? -
If I had hated the ep, I would have voted for them to have every non-vital body part minced up, but still be kept on them, cut off with a dull knife, ground up with an extremely painful poison, and then force-feed that mixture to them.(or something like that) Thanks for the ep number, I hated that one, but since it wasn't the last one, their punishment wouldn't have been that horrible.(just the painful poison) See if you can guess what I think IE's punishment should be.(look at the avatar)

Did anyone else notice the fact that Riker talked to Trip in the kitchen after he was already dead?!?!? I agree that Archer's speech would have made an excellent ending, but the one with everyone was awesome as well. I also noticed that T'Pol's head moved when Riker kissed her. One thing that annoyed the heck out of me was that I couldn't figure out if 4x22 was supposed to be in the middle of the Pegasus ep or was it supposed to be later and the incedent was opened up again. And now that I think about, I do remember that Riker didn't tell Picard about the Pegasus, even though 4x22 indicates that he was going to tell him. Oh well, 4x21 was the better of the 2 by far and I even think it was one of the best ENT episodes ever, except maybe second to 4x02,"Storm Front, Part 2". That episode also had a really good last shot. In my opinion, it would have been acceptable to have that be the last episode of ENT.

I voted for the flaying. I didn't like the episode, but I didn't abhor it either. It would have been a good one if it had not been the last one ever. They did show some grain of intellegence during the last scene when the 3 captains said "Space the final frontier...". I thought that was a nice final scene. Just curious, what season was the Pegasus episode orginally aired? I have seen it before, but only on reruns on Spike. Just a side note. Has anyone else noticed that the 2 biggest and longest sci-fi ideas (for the lack of a better word) are ending within a week of each other. Star Trek last Friday and Star Wars this Thursday.

Who said this and in what movie? I remember he was from TOS and it was to the Holodeck on Picard's ship, but I can't remember for the life of me, who said it.

Hello, I am from the wonderfully hot and humid state of Texas. I am from the Northeast which is sooo much better. Here, at the end of April, it is 80°F (27°C for you non-whimps who use the metric system) and 95% humidity. Oh how I wish I could be someplace where it is snowing now. And no, I dont like Bush that much.

This totally sucks. But is there any way to find out if it will be pre-empted in my area?
-
And what would those 2 pillars be?

This would have been a very good idea. Here where I live in Texas, the public education system stinks. I go to a school that focuses on math, science, and technology and has higher level classes and I still sleep through those. Also, In order to graduate from high school, you must pass all portions (math, reading, history, and science) of the Texas Assesment of Knolwdge and Skills (TAKS) test. In the reading section, there is a short story, followed by some questions about it. Last year, the story was about names and was written by a Ms. Nye. She decided to take the actual reading test that the students took and made a 40% on the questions about her own test. She missed questions like "What message is the author trying ot convey?". You would have a better chance of passing if you randomly guessed which means that the extremely stupid people who only know how to guess have a better chance of passing than those who are smart and answer the question based upon the passage, not the state. article Actual Test Enough of Texas's stupidity. I think that if we were more educated as a world, the problems facing the world could be solved much faster. There would be better research on space and medicine because the research that is happening today would not be as revolutionary if everyone knew about it in school. Increases in general technology would help solve the famine problem because more food could be produced at a lower cost. If we could invent something like a food replicator, there would be no need for farmers so they could go into a scientific field of study. Also, if people were more educated and knew more about the customs and beliefs of the rest of the world, fighting would decrease especially religious wars in the Middle East. Honestly, what percetage of the American population could go over to an Islamic country right now for a week and not offend them by breaking one of their customs? Enough for now...

I am a Democrat on most issues (education, environment, and most other things) but I support Bush's war.(about the only thing though) Call me what you want...
