If one counts Australia as an island, then there would be no continents.

Voyager - Lifeline. Damn, Troi is still hot.

"Smoking kills. If you're killed, you've lost a very important part of your life." -- Brooke Shields Thank you, Ms. Shields...

It might just be me, but am i picking up some hatred here? Not to alienate diehard Bush supporters, but one has to admit that he is not very articulate.

Have any of you checked this show out?

The authority for anime is AnimeYumi.org. It's pretty much a directory for a horde of anime torrent sites. By the way, Samurai Champloo rocks! -
What in the world is the show "Lost" about?
meateater replied to TV Man's topic in General Sci-Fi & Fantasy
I actually like the characters. Things I like the most about the show are the flashbacks. To be stranded on an island. It's one of the great "what-if" fantasies. And the hot females stranded with you are a definite perk! B) -
Dude, someone change this topic to "Geography 110". To continue... In hindsight, that was very stupid.

If I was the writer, I would've made it so that Kes was assimilated by the Borg. The Voyager crew rescues her, reintegrates her into the crew, and makes her wear spandex. There you go! Character depth and sex appeal! :cyclops:

Just curious, but how many of you spell it 'defence' and how many of your spell it 'defense'. Personally, it's 'defense' for me.

Hlja'! Those Federation to'DsaH couldn't defend a planet against my puqnI'be'!

Where the hell are you guys working that you can watch Star Trek during? And are there openings?

The voice was rather sexy...

Voyager - Pathfinder. Damn, but Troi is still hot

Actually, it is rather convinent that Kes exited an episode after Seven's first. Perhaps they didn't get along on the set. A little argument that escalated to a shoving match. Before security could arrive, shirts and blouses were shredded and lying akimbo...

[speaking in my own ridiculous Russian accent] I prefer the first one myself, Comrade c4evap. Perhaps it would be better if the icon took on the visual image of an actual flag, ja. :cyclops:

Another one from the brainy pop princess: "I get to go to lots of overseas places, like Canada." This one's from Bill Peterson, the Florida State football coach: "You guys line up alphabetically by height." Boy, I would've loved to see the faces of those players. :D

You are corrent. I guess the challenge will be to resist the urge to mentally connect "stupid things people say" and "George W. Bush".

Lately it's been watermelon. Cold. :D

Inspired partly by the topic Great Quotes. "You work three jobs? … Uniquely American, isn't it? I mean, that is fantastic that you're doing that." Our president George W. Bush said this to a divorced mother of three. Is he missing the point here?

Draft beer, not people! :p

C'mon, the first one was awesome! The second were only for Matrix die-hards. I think the wors SF TV series I've ever watched (recently) was "V." It's pretty hokey to begin with, but it's clear that they overspent their budget early in the season and had to start using Ed Wood type measures to finish the series (frequently using the same chace scenes over and over and over again) - BTW, this is not limited to V. The first couple seasons of SG1 kept reusing footage of Cheyenne Mountain. Clouds in the exact same place. Moon in the exact same place. Guards in the exact same place. But SG-1 is a much better series than V. The first matrix film was great!! so did think alot of other people. Agreed. The first Matrix is, in my opinion, definitely one of the best sci-fi movies.
