I tried my best to get out of it. I wore goth-ish clothing and put mousse in my hair. I tend to look pretty scary when I dress that way. I was hoping they would say I was not a credible juror. Oh, well. It was a good idea.

Enterprise season 2 disc 7 just arrived via netflix. Can't wait to copy it!

UPDATE: I got downtown about 15 minutes late, due to parkway traffic. No prob, but when I got downtown, there were ABSOLUTELY NO parking spots. I live in Pittsburgh and today was the day of the big Steelers parade. I drove around downtown for 45 minutes and ended up in Oakland, where my fiance goes to school. At that point, I gave up. I don't know if I'm 'in trouble' or anything for not showing up, but the whole situation was just ridiculous.

ok then, mooooving on...thanks for clearing that up. I also have Zathura coming via netflix. I saw that movie in theaters. Even if you liked Jumanji, Zathura is a worthy movie. Made me feel 9 again! (like i was when jumanji was big)

So I have jury duty tomorrow...Don't the *ahem* wonderful people we have working for us in Washington realize that I am spending ALOT of money to attend college? That's just the thing, though: college or school in general is no excuse from jury duty (at least in pa). Well, I want those hypocritical fat-cats to pay my $150 dollars a day for every day that I am out! But, you can't fight city hall... ok...my complaining session is over now...

I haven't bothered with a dance/hip hop movie since that MTV movie...what was it called? If you're going to watch Crash, just be lenient during the first half. It's kind of sucky until the middle, then it totally redeems itself and ends up kick@$$

You know what, I have this cheapo Rosewill DVD-DL burner from newegg.com and it has never let me down. The thing is quiet, blazing fast, and beats the ones at school (i'm a multimedia major, so we have good comp's) by a long shot. Rosewill actually is a respectable brand name. For just $40, I was willing to take the risk. I came out on top on this one!
