I don't know how alot of people would react. It might not be a good reaction. Yes, the concept is interesting, but teamwork and human evolution is the essence of Star Trek. Trek, like all sci-fi, is meant to teach us something about ourselves. We can't learn about ourselves from a show based around an alien culture. Maybe a different show. Just don't do it to Star Trek.
