i've always disliked pulaski greatly, i found her charchter to be contrived, boring, and i just wanted her to leave because i hated her personality greatly, season 2 of TNG is deffently my least favourite season of any star trek ever.She was a female McCoy and that just didn't work with all the other charchters in TNG. Way to much of a TOS charchter for TNG. She is my least favourite star trek charchter and will continue to be.

I have conducted many experiments regarding this topic to test whether it is flat or round using the Nintendo entertainment System, time and time again each experiment gives the EXACT same result. It is conclusive that the earth is not only flat but only 2-dimensional!!!

I didn't really think it was the obvious ending, i took the whole reaver origin to be exactly what everyone thought it was, i mean it wasn't suprising that it was a side-effect of this whole government thing, but i think the whole point of that was it wasn't supposed to seem suprising but realistic and a possibility. I really liked the ending sort of wrapped everything up, so if there was nothing to come after it would conclude the series.

mutation does play a small part, but thats where the larger changes occur, where species start to seperate, you are right about it being small though, and thats why the evolutionary process takes SUCH a long time, it is not something that can be directly observed or anything, and thats why the subject is constantly being studied and changing today, since there is still so much to learn about it. they discovered that the universe is expanding at an increasing rate. and it didn't disprove the bigbang theory, but is leading towards the development of something called dark energy, a sort repulsive force, opposite of gravity.

Actually, before the box is opened it its both dead and alive, as the cat is a quantum cat of course:P there is a 1/2 chance it is alive and 1/2 chance dead, when you open the box, it is not one or ther either untill it us "measured" and you break down the wave equation. This is what allows crazy things like quantum computing to be a possibility, where you have one particle represting both a 1 and a 0. on the matter of evolutionary theory and intelligent design, only one is a scientific theory. In order to be scienctfic theory and not philospy, you must be able to prove it wrong. Such as proving special relativity wrong by flying a jet REALLY fast with an atomic clock on it, and comparing it to an atomic clock to see if their is a time difference, this can be prove special relativity wrong(actually this experiment was performed and verified special relativity). This is the reas String theory or M-theory is in such a tight bind right now, because there is not really any way to prove it wrong, and thus can't prove it right. There are some ideas for it right now, but nothing that is going to save the theory and time soon. As such if nothing comes up for string-theory eventually to attempt to prove it wrong, it can easily become a dead science in 10-20 years. Evolution can be proven wrong, whereas intelligent design cannot. Omnipotence, as a creator would be in the world he created, this gives intelligent design the flexibility to jump around any disproof. Evolutionary theory has tons of ways to be disproved. As such evolution is the way for me, it changes and improves, and continues to get more and more accurate, as it can be proven wrong. Intelligent design is not science, and never will be, its not neccesarly wrong, but its not neccesarly right. At least with evolution if it is wrong, it can be proven so, and probably will be in my liftime. Intelligent design is faith and nothing else, no getting around that anyway.

you still can conceptualize that many dimensional spaces, you can work around it, but it doesn't make you able to imagine those extra -dimensional spaces. point being though imagination is limited, it may not seem it, but we will never be able to imagine the stuff we can't imagine because we can't imagine it :P, we aren't this perfect species with unlimited power, so why assume our imagination is unlimted?

no human imagination is deffently limited, can you conceptualize 5 spatial dimension, some people say they can do 4 but i think they are lieing :p, but it goes much more beyond that, do you think the ancestors of homo-sapiens given eugenics, could have created us?? could they imagine the use of tools before they had them?? our minds are limited, and as such so would be eugenics. Eugenics has at least an equal chance of wiping us out as evolution if not more, eugenics is a quick fix kind of thing, which isn't always the right fix, evolution is an extremely slow adaptive process which has worked decently for us so far, maybe...

I think the problem with eugenics is that it could end up hindering the evolutinary process. It would become designer evolution in a way, and limited to human imagination. Where our species go could go so much further. Although thats assuming a civilization with eugenics would last as long as it takes to hinder evolutionary development. Either way eugenics would seem great, but would really take the suprise out of evolution :P

your just saying what i'm saying, it won't hurt anyone to marry a sheep, well it could tax wise, i mean people might start marrting sheep for tax reasons. Thats very different from what would occur in same sex marriages, which would mostly occur because of love. So do you think homosexuals and sheep should be grouped together?

Sure why not, why care if someone wants to marry a sheep, waste of time and money to dance around who can marry what. If someone wants to marry a sheep what ever. The big difference between same-sex marriage and sheep marriage though is that people of the same-sex will marry where as one or two idiots would marry a sheep.

one question i have for those opposed is how would a pro same/sex marriage effect you in anyway??? I've never heard a reason ever from anyone, and would like to know. The only way i can see it affecting anyone is slight loss of tax dollars. Otherwise i can really only view it as selfishness.

knowing would be a great experiment in determinism, you could try to do everything possible to avoid this death, it would be like a game. Move somewhere really far from that location and stay away from it at all costs. See if you somehow end up there and die still or don't!!!! you will die gaining some very interesting knowledge, oh have a recorder on you or someone with you at the time to record this info.

Dude your missing the two systems i'm in conflict about which i like better :P For me its either the NES or SNES, not sure wich a very hard choice for me, a very hard choice.

I always thought a hilarious way to end Voyager, would be for Wesley to so up all of a sudden and be like, hey whats uP? wanna go grab a burger?? here i'll get us to earth right quick. Personally i really like wesley crushers charchter, simply cause he was so amazingly talented and it was hilarious how easy things came to him, i find the one thing that annoys me about his charchter is that they stopped really developing him, which made him to 1-sided. And i must say there is nothing wrong with being GOOD!!!!! OH back to the 1 sided thing, when they did develop him with his teen angst thing it felt all wrong cause he was so out of the series, and you didn't really feel the development.

Joss has stated that he is going to be working on another 3 part firefly comic!!!!! with Brett Matthews!!! HURRRAAYY!!!! I figured at the least we would get more firefly comics, maybe if the dvd sales do well we will get another movie or a series, so go buy those dvds for you and everyone you know :)

Anyone starting to watch one of the series, or re-watching them, should keep track of risks taken by captains, and we can answer this statistically.
