Fenriswolf
Actually, a 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th Doctor episode might be quite a fun one to do. It would certainly be a challenge to come up with a reasonable/plausible storyline.
petra1989
Has Baker ever stated his reason for not doing a multi doctor episode? It's unfortunate' date=' because after all these years, for many people, he is the definitive doctor.[/quote'] He didn't do the five Doctors because he felt it was too soon for him. But he did make an appearacne in Dimensions in Time. So maybe he is not totally against appearing.

Fenriswolf
I have actually been thinking along those lines, since I love UNIT.
underscore
it would suck if it just had sylvester mcoy times 20 in one story............. Could i bear that much mcoy?!?!?!?
GorunNova
I don't know... I think it's been too long for anyone earlier than Sylvester McCoy to plausibly show up...
Fenriswolf
McCoy was really great right near the end of his run, when they got stories where you can see the dark/manipulative/more than just a Timelord side of the Doctor. But as I have said before, it was too little, too late.

Confusing for non-fans' date=' but what FUN![/quote'] I think that this would be an awesome idea, petra1989. 3 hours of nothing but Doctors, enemies and the Time War. I mean no holds barred, bring everything back that you can think of and Hollywood-be-damned make it in the UK. BBC only!
coolcat13
actually McCoy was more like average by the end of his run which was a big step up from God Awful at the beginning of his tenure .It was only his last year that pulled him ahead of C Baker in my very humble opinion
coolcat13
still the reason I would like to see a multi Dr episode is to see how these actors would fare under RTD .
Fenriswolf
This is another important point I think we missed, the Direction back then as well was pretty awful - compared to RTD's choice of Directors this time around.
coolcat13
yea I agree . The actors are going to get a fair bit of the blame when it was obvious that the direction of the show was very poor .I think that is why you see them doing a better job since switching to BF .If they came off stronger in an RTD atmosphere I think it would be a real credit to the new Dr Who series . Fenriswolf
Some of those audio directors can be really strict compared to a film/TV director.
coolcat13
we may get our way .There is a chance that they will indeed do a multi Dr episode .At least that seems to be the popular rumor for a season 29 ep (2007)
Fenriswolf
Even if I got 2 Doctors I'd be happy :)
coolcat13
If rumors are correct there will be 4 .I am not sure that McGann will be in it but apparently some of the older docs are . So I am guessing DT , CE , PD and SM from what I have read . but this could be more RTD misdirection
Fenriswolf
Yeah, or fan rumours, there are a lot of fan rumours that grow in the telling and become fact (or rather they aren't fact) when they're not true at all.
coolcat13
so basically believe it when we see the cast list .... and maybe not even then (davros)
Fenriswolf
Never trust IMDB 100% -- a lot of people have added false info there, either fans or BBC reps.
trebor
Never trust IMDB 100% -- a lot of people have added false info there' date=' either fans or BBC reps.[/quote'] I think you're right on that one: wasn't it on IMDB that the rumor that adam was a dalek agent/possibly davros first started? You know, the funny thing about Dr. Who is that everyone (over the years) kept saying how william Hartnell had to leave the show because he was 'so old'. He started the role when he was 55. Most of the actors who played The Doctor are now older than that. Tom Baker must be in his 80's, so I don't think he'll be running around corridors anytime soon.
