Supposedly in episode 2 this season, the Cylon centurions are supposed to get onboard the Galactica. IMHO, we didn't see enough of them in season 1. Ulysses
Yeah good to see its back, but this time its disgusting that its being aired first in north america, no offence but if its being co-funded by sky tv then it should be aired at the same time, not 3 or 4 months later. Yet again we are made to feel like second class citizens when it comes to television, screw my suscription to SKY TV, I will just download it instead, and they wonder why us Brits are one of the worst for downloading TV series (look at enterprise, only just starting season 4!!). I heard it's the reverse of last year where Sky got it first, then Sci-Fi three months later. I also heard a rumor that we get the first ten, Sky gets all twenty, then we get the last ten. I hope that's not true cuz that would suck.

Good question. I know it was a mess over on this side when folks in the UK had already seen the first season of the series but over here we hadn't. Makes for very messy forum discussions. But I guess it'll be like Doctor Who in reverse. The way I got to see the new doctor was because of NiteShdw, so it's our turn to reciprocate. GeneralLee
It appears to me that BSG and SG1 will be each airing on the Sci-Fi channel on the same date, perhaps one following the other. If I recall, SG1 starts up again at 8pm EST (my time zone) in the USA, so I'd imagine BSG will follow it, at 9pm EST. Should be a great night for Sci-Fi. Can't wait to see both of them again. DarthMarley
Operating theory is that UK and perhaps Canada will get the eps 11-20 before the US does, much like the SG series airs.

taq22
The Sci-fi channel aired the first season when it was finished, this time they have decided not to do that in order to show it a month after the first season. Sky on the other hand, they are in the UK and as such, follow the seasonal patterns. This means that all the best stuff is in Autumn, which is traditionally the busiest time time for TV. So Sky don't really care if they show it before or after the US, they are more interested in showing it at the right time.

Kinda stupid, they should air it in every single country that it will ever be aired at the same time. Why? Because it would discourage piracy. if you have a VHS recorder and the show's on why would you download it? As it is the only way people in countries like Australia and to a lesser extent the UK will be able to see the new episodes at the same time as people in the US is by downloading them.
