daffydk
that would be nice to see data. Or is he in another role.. regardless.. he did a good job in the arc this season on enterprise.

Elladan
Warning - Possible Spoilers (If True that is) contained below Funny statement. Possible spoilers... are in fact nothing but loose words, no? You're stating the obvious; still, it's a nice rumour you strengthen!! Good work, Defiant! Elessar
Hehe, I was trying to warn people cuz the LOTR boards I used to frequent got really MAD if you posted a link to something even remotely possibly accurate foreshadowing something about one of the films that was going to come out (before the release of TT and ROTK) so I'm used to it :) It says in the article Brent Spiner would be (if he's there) reprising the role of B-4... No, it says they never intended B-4 to return. :) Read better. It's near the end.
Elessar
Well yes but by mentioning that they never intended to bring him back as B-4 they imply a change in decision, and since Data is dead, and the article's talking about Brent Spiner being involved in another film...It would therefore be as B-4  B)

bbbb
Do we really want to see the retarded Data brother on screen again? It's bad enough that he died, now we're thinking of bringing B-4 back? As for bringing Riker and Troi back, I think its a great idea but difficult to do.
Elessar
I never said I necessarily thought they SHOULD put Spiner back on as B-4, I'm simply saying that Spiner implied in the interview that he and Stewart would both be involved in future ST projects, and obviously it can't be as Data, I don't care what kind of time travel trickery is used that'd just be downright lame to kill him then magically bring him back...Thus if spiner was involved, it would have to be as B-4. afransen
I think it was a huge mistake to kill Data's character. What were they smoking when they dreampt that up?
VonHelton
I think it was a huge mistake to kill Data's character. What were they smoking when they dreampt that up? Maybe it was a hint that Star Trek was coming to an end? .....The best way to slow down a franchise like ST would be to kill off the most endearing characters, wouldn't it? :stare: :stare: :stare:
Daedrus
Who's to say? Maybe Picard will finally die in the next one.. Generations.. almost got swept away by the pretty thing.. First Contact .. Borg Queen Lady almost killed his world.. Insurrection.. Like a MS and he would've been dead.. Nemesis.. Data to the rescue.. Yeah.. it seems with all the close calls, the writers will probably kill him off soon too.. and then we'd have to resort to watching Broadway to see Patrick Stewart in action..
