Tenebrae
Horror but sci-fi horror. Although, I suppose one could argue it is actually feasible to have people on Mars... albeit impractical. I agree with the assessment that Doom looks like a dire Resident Evil remake. Just watching the trailer made me cringe. Not even the most electrifying man in sports entertainment can help it. starcrunch
Both of them look like a waste of time, there is still so much good untouched sci-fi material out there, Asimoz's Foundation for one. I mean c'mon I could write better stuff than whats getting put into theatres lately. I want more Dune as well.
CeeJay
i'm also quite curious to see a live action adaptation of transformers. They better not touch the theme!!!!!!!! Have you seen the Transformers breakdance flashvid by Wilenkin ? IMO that was a great remix of the theme .. though you may not have meant the musical theme.. but rather the style. Wilenkin.com seems to be down .. Good thing I in my eternal wisdom saved a backup of the vid.
