IRC RPG

Back to Maverick's idea (I think it was) of a sort of NiteShdw community RPG, IRC is probably the best medium. wargames and myself were talking and we decided upon a bot to do the rolls and maybe a couple of GMs.

We were thinking of doing Rokugan for Dungeons and Dragons, Rokugan is the Asian setting.

So basically what I'm looking for are names of people who would definately play, and those who'd be willing to GM the game. Once we have a nice list of names we can start organising.

Current Players:

wargames - GM

leetcow

coolcat13

TetsuoShima

mcant

EDIT: Open for suggestions.

will count me in but as a player only as my work schedule is a bit eratic and I GM a StarWars campaign on Sundays and play a D&D campaign on Saturdays that are both table top games .

I have not played RPG by post before however a few of my friends have so I should have no problem getting up to speed

also I want dibs on the rogue :P

You're going to have to duel me for it ;)

Well, it looks like we've got enough interest. It's really just a question of getting a time when everyone can be on.

Need to get the bot working as well.

I managed to get a StarGate SG-1 RPG so if anyone's interested in that... though I'd prefer to do Rokugan, as I'm more used to that.

well shima you should be able to dl the book from this site just type in rokugan. we are useing the d20 based one becouse it's easyer and alot of ppl now that system.

this is the only book i will have to read right?!?

You may also want to get a copy of the starters guide to DnD, but you should be able to pick it up from that book (I think).

Count me in for playing. Once I see what sort of group we have I might be interested in DMing a different campaign.

Getting a good time when everyone is on will be the hard part though. Sunday or weeknights are best for me. Friday and Saturday are definately off (I have a real life and like to go out on the weekends)

any nights but Wednesday and Sunday are fine but I have to occasionally flip over and watch Dog races run it would generally be about a minute delay every 20 - 40 minutes possiably longer on a night where I have fewer dogs in if this is not a problem just pm me with starting times and days

edit by longer I mean that the one minute break could be about once an hour or so on slow nights
