mmsock
how come the SciFi channel promos for SG1 state "A SciFi original"? Well, they are producing new, original episodes, and when they show the old ones they don't say that. They also do the same thing with movies: Some movies are shown on SciFi which they didn't make, but they are the first to broadcast it, so it's the first original offering to the public domain. Plus don't forget the multi-tiered system of the entertainment industry. SciFi channel is part of a huge conglomerant organization which funds, produces, and purchases all sorts of medium, which any of their daughter companies can claim as their independent property transitively. Marcroft
CRUSADE!!!! Should have been good - sounded promising - but what a disaster. I can rather annoyingly recall getting choked on the word c**t hundreds when trying to explain the first episode to a friend who was fortunate to miss it. Not that you could tell - but I was hoping for far too much I think. Plus the ship really sucked - what the hell was it supposed to be?? Why doesn't JMS do a series about the Babylon 4 station??? Yes it might be similar to B5 in the sense that it was set on a station, but it would make for good story telling.

I've seen re-runs of The Time Tunnel on SPACE every now and then (usually very late on sundays). That show was SO awful, it was actually kinda cool. In a Plan 9 From Outer Space Kinda way. Ulysses
well i would say the matrix movies. C'mon, the first one was awesome! The second were only for Matrix die-hards. I think the wors SF TV series I've ever watched (recently) was "V." It's pretty hokey to begin with, but it's clear that they overspent their budget early in the season and had to start using Ed Wood type measures to finish the series (frequently using the same chace scenes over and over and over again) - BTW, this is not limited to V. The first couple seasons of SG1 kept reusing footage of Cheyenne Mountain. Clouds in the exact same place. Moon in the exact same place. Guards in the exact same place. But SG-1 is a much better series than V. The first matrix film was great!! so did think alot of other people.
