Star Trek loses another Star

Only caught this as an add-on while doing a search elsewhere on an unrelated subject:

 

Loulie Jean Norman, soprano and TV actor died on Aug 2nd.

 

While better known to the TV world as an actor and a soprano of note, she will be best remembered by Treklore as the soprano who (wordlessly) sang the original TOS theme tune.

 

I personally find the TOS theme to be about as good as a theme music can get and it still bring smile to my dial when I hear it.

 

One wishes the family all the sympathy and say thank to Loulie for the music.
