tsog
Summary Charlie Jade (Jeffrey Pierce, The West Wing, JAG, Boston Public) is a private detective in a world dominated by greedy multinational corporations. When Charlie sees the corpse of a beautiful young woman he realizes she embodies the impossible: she has no identity, something inconceivable in Charlie's world. While tracking her suspected killer, the trail leads Charlie to a secret desert facility. A massive explosion propels him into a parallel universe, our own chaotic twenty-first century world where he is both baffled by its differences and seduced by its similarities. Charlie is soon drawn into a conflict that not only involves his home universe and the one he now inhabits but also includes another, a pristine pacifist universe with unsuspected terror at its heart. Three worlds... One hope I'm sursprise that no one is talking about it here! :o Is anyone watching it?

S0V13T
Yeah! I happened to catch the behind the scenes show about this show on SPACE a good month or so ago, looked frigging awesome, but I forgot what it was called like 30 seconds after the show ended. Been driving me crazy trying to remember the name of it. THANK YOU! for those who have never heard of it, it seemed to me like a bizaare combination of Blade Runner and Sliders. Foil
Snooooooorrrrrrrrrrrr..... huh, huh, oh sorry, was watching Charlie Jade  . Started out well but pretty much took a nose dive afterwards. Good concept, nice filming, good acting, but horribly, awefully, disastorously directed in terms of pacing. I don't mind slow paced films if they capture your interest the entire time but this show just fails to do that. All the characters are just too self indulgent except for the reporter/investigator fella who should have much more film time if they hope to keep this show running past three seasons. I would like to see the series pull outa the tail spin but have serious doubts. That episode where they had to recap the entire season is just proof positive that people are snoozing throughout the series.
tsog
Snooooooorrrrrrrrrrrr..... ... I would like to see the series pull outa the tail spin but have serious doubts. That episode where they had to recap the entire season is just proof positive that people are snoozing throughout the series. I don't know Lost and that other ABC show that had recap specials didn't have that problem. At the point of the recap special I thought the show pick up the pace nicely. mikatelo
Considering the show doesn't come from usual USA studios, and is made on low budget, it is very well made. Story is interesting and refreshing with a lot of political conotations, CGI is very good and acting is mostly very good. Directing and editing will not be to everyones liking, but is pretty innovative. Another season would probably kill the whole show.
