I work at a hotel. You'd think I'd be busy checking people in and out, making reservations, etc. But NO!

What do I do? I sit at the front desk, with a laptop. What is on teh laptop? Star Trek episodes and movies. What do I do all day? WATCH THEM till I have NANOPROBES coming out my ears! I just order pizza, drink Pepsi, and watch Star Trek all day!!!

When I get home, what do I do? Clean or cook, no. Sleep? Yeah, usually much later. I fly online with FS 2004 on one computer, download more star trek and WATCH star trek on my second computer!

Am I a nut or what?

I worked at a hotel, for 1 night lol. Their comp didn't have internet access, and i can't stand other ppl anyway, so I quit. The nice thing was though, they had a honkin big screen SONY tv in the lounge that i could watch when i wasn't busy, on the night/audit shift.

I know the tricks of the trade from that 1 night though hehe. All the discounted room secrets.. being able to use the suites and crap for friends and family.

But being a business owner is much better than any job. TAX WRITEOFFS!!

Oh, did I forget to mention it only paid $7.50 an hour? You still think it's a good job? hehe

Unless you steal the credit card#s and cash, which was $4,000 that I had to count up that night. But night audit is the quietest and easiest shift for working the hotel front desk.

Sounds like a great job for a student. I can study and work at the same time. Of course, the temptation of watching Star Trek episodes could be overwhelming, seeing that I still have much to view...
