Why people download stuff rather then buy them

One annoying thing with VOIP is that you *have* to buy a phone line, even if you don't use it (at least, that's the case with Verizon-u.s.). So if I switched to VOIP, I wouldn't eliminate the phone bill. No money saved.

And, I'm currently living in a hotel, so my high-speed net access is free. When I go home though, I can not justify a $30 a month DSL bill, just to read email, so I'll use the phone line.

i do think box sets r well over priced, i'm a student and can't afford to buy box sets at £130 - £150 a time, it is cheaper for my to download and just wait for it ot e complete
