GorunNova
I'll probably pick one up if it gets a decent RPG at some point...

TFMF
KOTOR & KOTOR 2 are the best games ever - anyway - i might get one - there only £180...well 'only' isn't the best word but considering it's from Sony. juhan
if you really wanted quality entertainment & gaming, just take a seat in front of your PC or telly and get better entertained! Why go portable? So that you can bring it to work and play when the boss isn't looking? =Han=

theaveng
I'll watch this thread with interest' date=' because I'm very much on undecided on whether or not to get one.[/quote'] I think portables are a waste (imho). I've never been in a situation where I did not have a TV for playing full-sized console games. So I have no need for GBA or PSP Travelling!!!! I can't play a game while I'm driving, can I? troy

GorunNova
I personally like the idea of sitting at the beach, kicking back, and playing a game while I catch some sun ;)... portables ain't a waste.
meateater
How do the movies look on the PSP? I've always wanted to purchase a portable DVD player, and the ability to play games isn't a bad perk. But I do think twice before condemning myself to bad food (aka my girlfriend's cooking) for the next month.
GorunNova
Ummm... the PSP plays it's own disk / memory / whatever thing, and NOT DVDs, so it'd be useless as a DVD player...
Vektram
I really, really want one... but I recently bought an mp3 player, then I have to get another a hard drive, then a... etc. Anyway, I spend over 1 hour on the bus each day, also my computer can't handle many games :p when travelling I don't drive (yet) so it's kinda boring, mp3 player + handheld gaming device = entertainment. :D
TetsuoShima
This thing is really a hit in the UK, nearly 190000 sales in 4 days!!! WOW!!! :stare:
S0V13T
I'm not really a gadgety kinda of guy, and I see the PSP as a frivolus waste of money. BUT, a couple days after they were released in Canada, a friend of mind bought one and was showing it off. It was simply amazing. As a once die hard Game Boy (Classic) fan I was amazed with how good games looked on it, and how good the SOUND quality was. I think that he said that it had 7 speakers or so on it. Again, not really my cup of tea, and I'd rather spend my money on hookers, but it's definatelly cool.
