NiteShdw
By far the best scene of the episode is the last scene where we find out that the ship is being piloted by remote control. I was wondering how they would keep the humans from seeing a Romulan. The show was descent, good action, but you could tell where the budget was cut. The attack scenes consisted of Malcom saying "Direct hit", but there wasn't a single CG cut scene of the Enterprise shooting the torpedo. Oh well. Still, I'm excited to see Enterprise step up to the role of peace-maker, a role that was central to TNG.
UtahLugers
Freaking "To Be Continued..."! This was one of the first ones I got to see ---on the TV--- (ok, maybe 2nd or 3rd) instead of on my computer. It was a great intro into the Romulan setup though. I'm excited!! NiteShdw
this one is a 3 episode arc, with this being the first and 2 more to go, so there is a lot more action coming up.
killbenau
I have to say, this season has bought me back to star trek, The writing is taking an epic turn, i think there is an old saying that strangly applies to what i think the writers are trying to achieve. Here we get to see, how the west was won. I love continuing story lines, and im loving Enterprise.

dabrood
- great camera movement and effects - Hoshi vs. Archer is a great "fake-scene" - right balance between action/story development - nice references to old episodes I'm looking forward to the other parts :)
VonHelton
.....And "Wrath of Dawn" Osteroff pulls the plug tomorrow. Wouldn't that put a twist in yer knickers? :p
daffydk
great episode! Action packed with lots of different scenes/stories happenning at once. I kept wondering what that guy with all those wires in the middle was doing and I knew that was central to the romulans plot and sure enough he was a remote control. Pall
I agree, a great episode. I am much relieved after the first episode of 2005.
daffydk
I must say that Their ship's sensors suck!!!!!! None of the ships, enterprise, andorian or thelarites were able to figure out that the ship is actualy a holographic projection. And there is something else that I do not understand. How is it that they are able to beam people in and out during battle with shields in tact?
Laocon
How is it that they are able to beam people in and out during battle with shields in tact? Because both ships are not using shields but hull platening

striker2063
I like that episode, every character (yes, also hoshi and travis) had a fair screen time. The greatest thing about this episode are the camera movements and angles... e.g. engineering scene where the camera moves from trip to the warp reactor while trip is speaking. Then I liked the references to other episodes and that Malcolm and Trip are alone on a strange holographic romulan ship... I wish I could see the next 2 episodes NOW ;-) I can't wait anymore. fds71
I agree it was a great episode. I like the idea of starfleet being peace makers, it's consistent with the Star trek universe and so are the plotting Romulan...
Taz
I also liked the episode. The only thing that really bugged me was the interior of the Romulan ship. Transparent tubes with leftover Christmas lights and silver air duct tubing and a few flashing blue and green LEDs just doesn't cut it. Not even for the last century.
