ENT has done a great job on the Andorians......It's the highlight of the series, IMHO! :D
Guest Guest
Nice episode: Good Acting, improving storylines, although lacking space battle sequewnces--hopefully if more people start watching the budget will be increased and we will have another season or two or three! The ending was brilliant and will hopefully silence the bashers who said they couldn't keep the romulans faces secret. Question: is the ship remotely controlled and real or is it simply a hologram? I think that it is an actual ship and not just holigraphic...how else could it damage and destroy ships? I hope this arc only gets better! EDIT: I love Shran, great to have him, a definite bright spot as expected.

warpsix
At last a episode worthy of saving the whole star trek: enterprise's ass... I Love Enterprise. But this was an episode needed to peak interest & bring ppl in to watch the show & make the sucker rate! The clowns at the top would rather watch paint dry than watch Star Trek. There's the truth. They want the $$$ at the end of each season, they care for little else.
VonHelton
The ship is a real ship, guided by remote control. ;)

I figured--just a little unsure because of what others have speculated, thanks for the replys...got another question though---do romulans use this mimicking technology now but not in tng----they only have cloaks in tng why do they no longer have this technology...any speculation that can make their technology in enterprise fit with the other series---seems to advanced for me----but i do love the show regardless of any technical points that are unclear. thanks. daffydk
Well it seems that Enterprise must introduce new Ideas in order to become more appealing even if it means that it will come very close to violating the star trek storyline or timeline. But the writers are very careful. They did put that little bit about the romulan saying that this is 'experimental'. So obviously they (romulans) abandoned the technology when it comes to TNG times...or they perfected it to the point that no one could detect them anymore so it never came up in TNG. The former is more likely than the latter. Although why would they not develop such lethal technology further if they had 100s of years more to work on it. NiteShdw
Another possibility is that since Star Fleet becomes aware of this 'trick', it could no longer serve any purpose. In fact, attacks by other ships might be automatically assumed to be Romulan, so it could end up working to their disadvantage. I'm sure they are thinking about this during this arc, that's why they are so worried that the human ship discovered them and "have seen too much". If the human's figure it out, it'll be the end of their little scheme. You should also remember Nemesis - It seems that the Senate/military approves a lot of experimental projects that eventually are tossed out, due to politics or other reasons. And don't forget the U.S.' own "Star Wars" project that promised great things, but never came to fruition. It's possible that this technology also suffers from 'beta testing' problems that cannot be resolved, so the project is scraped. However, if Starfleet doesn't have any holographic technology themselves, how can they program their sensors to be able to detect a holographic emitter? Maybe T'Pol was able to deduce it from the data, who knows. I believe the storyline is based on TOS episodes that stated that the Romulans were secretly trying to pit species against species. Does anyone know about that?
mic
best season 4 episode in my opinion babel was excellnt and I was well chuffed with plot and storry - reminds me of star trek 6 and few stng episodes but more exciting cose of the pre-federation issues at stake. bbbb
I have yet to see all of this episode and I hope that the conclusion of the trilogy is good. This season has been great so far, no redundant episodes like the cowboy one from season three. With the lack of quality TV they must be mad to cancel Enterprise.
