meateater
There's Alpha, Delta, and Gamma. I've just come across a mention of the Beta Quadrant in an episode of Voyager. I'm guess from the term 'quadrant' that there's no Omega Quadrant. Also, how are they positioned? Are we talking about a 4-square comfiguration? Has anyone encountered an explanation of this in an episode?

GorunNova
Yup... four quadrants, as is implied by the fact that they're called 'quadrants' and not 'pentrants' or 'octants' ;)
