Centurion
Good episode! I liked the brand new Xena Cylon model. :cyclops: Through this new agent, the Cylons managed to get a good view inside Galactica. Besides that, it was just one more sci-fi news show... BarneyCletus
Was I the only person that thought that the whole "reporting camera" effect didn't work since all of BSG is filmed with a wobbly camera anyway?
macrovirus
Remember our first cylon that was thrown out the airlock - they can download each other's memories within some given distance. The cylons obviously know exactly where the fleet is at any given time, so there's no reason they couldn't just be hiding out following them around. Of course that begs the question: Why don't the cylons just destroy the humans then? Maybe that's what the writers are trying to figure out with all this baby and God stuff. If you remember from the pilot episodes, the last line of the episode is from one of the copies of Sharon (with one of the most AMAZING cliffhangers ever). She says 'Don't worry, we'll find them', or something to that effect, making me think that they don't actually know where the fleet is, even though there are cylons in the fleet. If not, I believe that the cylon invasion force (seen in 'Valley of Darkness') would have happened many times before, or more base-stars coming in and destroying them. I think that the cylons wanted the fleet destroyed up to the point where they realised that it was where they were going to have the first cylon offspring. Galactica was never in their plan (to my thinking), as all through season one, there were many examples of the fleet trying to be blown up. I think we'll see less of that to come. Tenebrae
For me, it confirmed that the Cylons are pretty much doing the whole plan thing. There are - to me - two reasons they don't just blow the colonial fleet to shreds, as they clearly know exactly where they are. 1. The baby. 2. They want to follow the colonials to Earth to destroy ALL humans.
djdust
My first thought on seeing the scene with the cylons is that they are nearby' date=' perhaps somewhere in the fleet, or some short distance away.[/quote'] Watch it again. it states quite clearly that they are back on Caprica. Tenebrae
Yes but they probably had SHIPS nearby.

Ah, that sounds about right. Again, that seems an indication that the cylons know where the fleet is, and they are sparing it from destruction for a reason... Then again, the fleet certainly gets attacked a lot.
