TFMF
In the games such as Armada + 2 the Steamrunner was used as sort of an Artillery ship - firing long range blasts of......somthing - not very starfleet in my opinion
mrq
Come On!! It HAS to be the Sovereign class! 1) It's sleeeek - like it was built by Ferrari 2) It's got a mean punch - Quantum Torpedos! Whee! 3) Kicks the Defiant's butt - remember the line in ST:FC where Riker tells Worf: "Nice little ship"? 4) The latest Enterprise 1701E is it! Galaxu would be 2nd choice since it just looks to, well, majestic I definetly agree! And Excelsior its very elegant too.

Mav
Question, since you included the Prometheus (my vote), which was an experimental prototype and hadn't yet been made into a full scale vessel type, would you also consider adding the Future Enteprise from TNG? The one that could go to like Warp 13 and had three Warp nacelles instead of just two? I'm sure it's also a galaxy class ship but still that thing was pretty frakking sweet. I also loved the Defiant class, small but they pack a punch
Steveo
That Enterprise, that Riker had as his ship in TNG 7x25/26 (All Good Things), was still just a Galaxy class though. It did annoy me that the ship could go faster than Warp 10, then in Voyager when that happened Tom Paris was everywhere simultaniously. Discontinuity, sadly. The future Enterprise was cool though, the weapons just destroyed the Klingons so easily.
queenhank
Probably faster than Warp 10 on a new Warp scale, which doesn't put 10 as infinite speed. The TOS and ENT scales don't do that, so why assume that the current scale will last forever? Perhaps they simply changed the way they measure speed, so that every ship isn't doing something between 9.999999995 and 9.999999998.
