GhostShadow
oh this is a really easy question. THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY Damn! Another (I'm sure) typing mistake. I'm quite sure you meant to say "REPUBLICIAN PARTY". Ahhhhhhhhhh...now I feel better...don't you? EDIT: After re-reading this thread I must add to my list of things that "grind my gears": People who do not use proper punctuation and spell like a six year old (this especially irks me as there are tons of web-based spell checker programs). Here's the word most people spell incorrectly: they're (meaning - they are). It's usually spelled like so...there or their (both , of course, incorrect). Well, that's my rant (for now anyway). c4 B) no, i mean what i say/write. I dunno about you but all the democrates in Colorado are Dumb@$$es. IF you show them something shiny they are distracted, Now i dot not mean that every democrate is a dumb@$$ but the larger part of colorado is. The ppl here are so parinoied that they think that the CIA created Rap music so that black ppl whould kill eachother...and that CIA created hurricane katrina to hit new orleans and kill all the poor ppl, "ALL HAIL THE INTELIGENT" You may think i am joking but i am not. These ppl are dangerous democrates and the piss me off. I dont know if it more dangerous to be the only smart person in my school of democrates or to go running around naked in a lighting storm with a 20 foot poll. wahaha
Televangelists. Ranked in order of first to descend into hell. And once in Hell, the horse that crippled Christopher Reeves will steal all their identities, and run up massive online gambling debts, destroying destroying their credit scores and dreams of boat ownership. #1. Benny "you have attacked me and your children will pay for it", "JESUS will appear at my next crusade!" Hinn. #2. Robert "el shabba el dodo", "rats are eating my brain" Tilton. Look for the "Farting preacher" videos online. #3. Peter "55 gallon drum of miracle spring water" Popoff. This fuzznut was exposed as a fraud on TV. #4. Jimmy "diapers on their head and fanbelts around their waist" Swaggart. #5. Creflo "give me" A. Dollar. If you give any money to these screwballs, you're touched in the head, and deserve to be poor. These people are NOT healers or messengers of God. They are only after your money. They rake in about $80 million a year, EACH. Do the research on how they spend it. If this was the good ol' days of the bible, these false idiots would be stoned to death.

theaveng
Men who objectify women!   Women who think, just because I admire their beauty, I am objectifying them. No, I'm just admiring your lovely body, because mine is so ugly. Truth is, I think women have better personalities than men. I judge them by that. You should judge me the same way, instead of assuming I'm just a penis, looking for a good lay. That's sexist. troy

Beawulf
That tawdry avatar of yours theaveng seems rather objectifying to me, not to mention your thread on allissa milano's breasts, and some teenager from stargate being hot. If you dont want to appear to be objectifying women, I suggest not being so single minded. Regardless of how honourable you consider your intentions. GorunNova
You 'admire' objects of arts for how they look... not people -_-'. ... and you must know you just compared people who happen to be beautiful to mountains (an object) and deer (an animal), don't you? THAT is objectification. ^^ Physical beauty is a nice thing, don't get me wrong... but to me it's simply a lesser quality of a full person. Then again, I -am- unusual :D

To me, it's no different than admiring the majesty of the mountains or the beauty of a deer running through the woods. troy Objectification is the focusing on physical attributes while ignoring other attributes such as inteligence. Admiring the physical beauty of a person is objectifying if that is all you admire. Even if you are not thinking about sex. The character in your avatar has no attributes other than her physical appearance. That playboy movie you were ripping, I wonder how much personality was there to admire. The thread about alyssa milano or merrin you didnt mention anything but their physical attributes. So by definition that is objectifying. Dont get me wrong, I am not saying this to censor people or to make this forum ultra PC. I was just pointing out that you are saying one thing but doing another, being hypocritical. I think everyone admires beauty.

Beawulf
atkinsdiet, that is the low carb one right? I saw some show that had people try various different diets to see which works best, the low carb diet kicked butt! except they said it is only healthy for short periods (couple of months at a time). but I must agree, people who believe everything they hear/read s&$ts me

That's right, low carb is the future! And I've been on it for almost 6 years now and I'm a lot healthier than before. In fact, I'm convinced it saved my life.
