malbers
Was the mirror universe featured in the ENT ep. "In a Mirror, Darkly", the same mirror universe as in TOS and DS9 mirror universe episodes?

malbers
Remember, it was stated in TOS "Mirror, Mirror" that there are an infinite number of parallel universes and in TNG "Parallels" it was stated that there are an infinite number of possible outcomes for any event resulting in an infinite number of quantum realities... TetsuoShima
Well, both are possible of course: Hoshi could have made some fatal error and not conquer the whole galaxy with the Defiant (and the duplicates I would have had made, but then, who am I,... (no, don't go there, I know who I am!)). It could have been a different universe and Hoshi could have been supreme ruler... Personally I prefer them to be the same universe because that's more elegant, all mirror universe episodes being in the same universe... Just went to startrek.com and there it says: The Mirror Universe. So I conclude that they meant there to be only one! Of course, everything is open to interpretation... tomh
Anyone ever played the game Elite Force 1? Part of the alien base in the game is built from a paralell-universe ship that looks like the Defiant(or original enterprise). Same empire logos and everything. I Thought it fit into the game rather well.
Soulreaper
In regards to the topic, yes it was! And it was great - really dark and evil!!
dino4
I don't think it was the same... However it had Hoshi in it, so i am happy :p
Wazer
I said they are different but I was wrong the ENT and the TOS mirror universes were the same. THe tholians taking the Defiant seems to be the same. DS9 must be the same looking at the synopsis for "Crossover" the first DS9 mirror episode "Kira II tells Kira about the last crossover, which occurred with Captain Kirk a century ago. That incident led to the formation of a powerful alliance between the Klingon and Cardassian empires in which Bajor is also a major player." Seems pretty conclusive to me. sonyk
what is the name of the TOS episode which is in the alternate universe?
queenhank
There is more than one TOS episode which deals with alternate universes (Heh, "Universes"...). The one with the universe commonly called "The Mirror Universe" is "Mirror, Mirror".
