That would be about everyone. Of course there are some who do not fit in... LOL That may be possible. However, I have run across many people who have a great love for both ST and SW as well as other SF stories. True! This is an ST site, but that does not mean that ALL people here are die-hard trekkies. The possibility remains that several of us peruse this site and SW sites as well. Does it not? daffydk Posted February 2, 2005 Share Posted February 2, 2005 I like Star Trek becuase it explains the science more. STar Wars is more of a Good vs evil struggle intertwined with a love story. It gets a wider audience because star wars is explained in simple terms and is not very complicated. Star wars has one good story. I guess if you match star wars with one episode, or one arc of star trek, it may prevail. But if you compare it to all the stories that star trek has combined, star wars loses. I like the complexities of star trek. Its replicators, Transporters, warp drive, holographs, etc. In addition it is mixed with good stories. regardless of the arguments, this is a very subjective poll of course. PUNCH IT CHEWIE! ;) But Star Trek is so much more, indepth. Theres much more backstory, much more canon. More character depth more of practically everything. Trek > SW. Although, I feel that Star Wars is the far cooler franchise. I mean, look at all the cool characters from Star Wars. I mean sure Picard and Data are pretty cool - but I mean...
