kekante
I knew this site already but thanks :D, its cool but near 90 % of the resources are for Klingon uniforms and iam looking for Federation ( DS9 ) uniforms, i hope to find a pattern someday :_) the ones that are for sell in inet shops are cool but there is nothing like the pride of making it yourself...or at least sew it hehe. kekante
I have seen the nice items atr roddenberry store i it was my hope to buy there a pattern but alas a pattern is only 10 bucks but the international shippining fee to Spain its...46 dollars!!! so near 60 dollars for a pattern its too much for me thats why iam again surfing for info and why i asked :D
thanatos355
that's a cool idea. making your own uniform. not a bad idea for a halloween costume too!
VonHelton
but the international shippining fee to Spain its...46 dollars!!! Hmmmmmm........ I wonder how much it'd cost to fold it up into an envelope & send it to Spain via regular mail? .......Paper patterns don't weight that much, maybe a few ounces at most.
thanatos355
depends on the weight of the paper. weight being the quality in this case.
VonHelton
depends on the weight of the paper. weight being the quality in this case. Patterns for clothing are very thin paper.......Almost transparent. .....If it weighed more than a few ounces, I'd be shocked. It'll be cheaper if we just buy the thing & send it to him, I'm thinking...... :stare:
kekante
I am trying to get a pattern in european ebay but its TNG not DS9 but if i can´t win the bid, that idea about sending the pattern via regular mail could be cool, someone can tell me how much goes regular mail and i will send you the money then you send the pattern :D, the problem with roddenberry store was that they only ship using UPS and thats why its so expensive, in 5 days i will know if i ave win the ebay bid, if not perhaps i can give the item ID in roddenberry store to someone and trasnfer the money, as you have said, its paper, it can fit in a normal envelope. Another chance is to find someone who owns a pattern and can send a scan copy but i have been looking for some time to no avail. Thanks :D
