TheRenegade
I am going to say First Contact, just because I think the Borg kickass, and love to see any episode where they are, because it means lots of fireworks!! B)
Chewbacca
I voted for Generations, partly just to throw you all a curve, and I think Worf's promotion is some of the funniest Trek ever. Riker: Computer, remove plank Picard: That's retract plank, not remove plank. Riker: Oops. SORRY! Also when Data pushed Dr. Crusher in the water, after she said to get in the spirit. Funny :D
bbbb
I agree that First Contact is the best, who could possibly defeat the Borg as best Star Trek villain ever?

yelluh
uppps i was ment to say that first contact is only the second best trek film......wrath of khan is the best trek film ever!! Wrath of Kahn is defenitely a good trek movie.... but every time I watch it I keep hearing (The Plane!, The Plane!) in my head ;)
daffydk
Its interesting how some of the coolest ideas of star trek such as Time travel, Borg, etc came together in First Contact. I think the next trek movie should be based on the idea borg vs humans again. The borg comming to Alpha Quadrant in Full force with 1000s of Cubes.. They are meaner and fiercer than before since they have assimilated all kinds of new technology. They assimilate Romulans in 5 minutes. Earths only hope is to go to the future, bring back technology to defeat them.
Ulysses
Actually if you look at all the TNG films and rate them they havent really been that good Brill films : first contact Good Films : Nemesis Average/poor : Insurection/generations Now look at TOS Brill films : Wrath of Khan Good films : Search for spock, Voyage home, Undiscovered country Avergae/poor : The motion picture, the final frontier I personally think TNG was better as a series than in films. I personally think they should think about doing a all out war CGI gallore/action packed film to rival star wars.
Ulysses
but that wont happen as star wars gets a far superior budget to work with
Worf
Both First contact and generations are good...but generations is the bettre one of those two

daffydk
I didnt know First contact would be so popular. It has 70 votes so far. I guess the Borg are really popular. Voyager did reallly well with the borg too. Their stories were excellent.
Rashind
First contact was awesome. I disagree that the cochran character was a bad call. He's just a troubled genius. Everyone has character flaws in real life, and it's good to have some representations of that reality in art(considered broadly to include film). It would have robbed the movie of some of its naturalism had Cochran been a perfect hero. Nemesis is my least favorite. Data sacrificing himself was a completely effective moment(but I'll hate the writers for it until I die), but allowing him to "live on" in B4 is a total cop-out. I half hope they continue the story of B4 in a later film(or even series), but I seriously doubt that it will happen. Spiner is getting kind of old, and since androids aren't supposed to age, that should really put a stop to his playing the role. I've gone and depressed myself. Stupid Nemesis. ResidentNice
It goes like this: Nemesis First Contact Insurrection Generations I agree, but..... It should be: First Contact Nemesis Insurrection Generations As the Borg are pretty much the toughest enemy the TNG crew have faced...... Also what about the myth of the uneven numbered films being the bad ones? (Which is something that does kinda stand)
MindTrick
First Contact. Patrick steward did a great job of doing the whole captn' ahab... Then again, i guess he had practice with that role already :)

maverick
nemesis first contact generations insurrection 50% of the films so far and troi crashes the bloody ship. starfleets insurance premium is gonna shoot up. she might not even get on the policy for the next one. p'raps she needs a refresher course: 1. avoid big round planet shaped objects, hitting these can result in minor damage to your ve-hicle 2. if someone tells you to crash into another ship, ask em first if theyre a bit stoned, or havin a laugh
Relentless
I choose Nemisis, then First Contact, I think both were very well done and my favorite thing in Nemisis is when the Federation Vesell and the Romulans finally work together!!!
