The PEACEKEEPERS [Farscape] VS THE DOMINION [Star Trek]

Well... this was just curiosity. I wanted to say SCARRANS VS the DOMINON but honestly... the Scarrans would easily wipe the floor with the dominion.

The peacekeepers I think are more on their league... though I have my doubts... specially since their ships are like 8 KM in length while the biggest dominion vessel is about 1.2 KM... I think.

But... I think dominion has more manpower and other techs like transporter... the phased polaron beams.

But the peacekeepers have the FRAG cannons... the marauders... missiles capable of tracking their targets from long range at high velocity.

Sooo !?... What's the verdict !? Remember... they are both in their peaks.

Do the peacekeeper win only 'cause they r bigger or do the dominion win only 'cause they are Star Trek.

Since when was the size of a ship a good judge of its combat effectiveness?

I imagine the Dominion would win as the Jem'Hadar are essentially even more peacekeeper than the peacekeepers. They live ONLY to fight for the Domion, even Peacekeepers aren't that good.

Do we know how many planets/people the Peacekeepers or Dominion are composed of? No, it's pure speculation really - so I'll say Treknology would somehow win... it does that a lot.

Ok... the peacekeeper carrier can wipe a planet surface with relative ease.

Their prowlers can outmaneuver the Jem'Hadar fighters. Peacekeepers pulse cannons, rifles and guns are much more effective than Jem'Hadar ones. They are rapid fire... quick reload and heavy damage. They gear the Peacekeeper soldiers carries is much more advanced... nightvision... zoomvision... infrared... life sign. Peacekeepers can't stand too much heat. Peacekeepers... while tactical fighters are generally idiots when in war.

Plus they have more no. They controlled almost HALF the galaxy.

Peacekeepers ships are enormous and have extremly powerful shields.

Dominion controls almost 1/4 of the galaxy.

They can fire through shields. They can transport through shields. The soldiers have personal cloaks. They Jem'Hadar fighters have 10 times more firepower than the prowlers. Jem' Hadar soldiers are physically 5 times superior... they can EAT the peacekeepers in a 1 on 1 fight. While the Jem'Hadars are created and conditioned for war... so were the peacekeepers BUT peacekeepers... while having problems acted more efficiently than the Jem'Hadars... who were cool during the beginning.

The domonion ships don't have as heavy firepower as the peacekeepers. The Dominion is extrememly cunning and relies more on setting traps than direct full confrontation like the peacekeepers.

How can you possibly know which side has more powerful weapons or shields?

On a pretty much weekly basis the power out of a Trek ship varied from about as much as a light-bulb to 15 times as much energy as would be required to create the universe. This is of course, one of the real reasons that cross-continuity (and sometimes even intra-continuity) fights are a matter of personal preference and little more.

They should be treated as such because no amount of spurious numbers will change that. Sure it's fun to speculate but if you're to do that, then both sides have to agree to set of stats for both sides, otherwise it tends to degenerate into nightmarish star trek vs. star wars "No, turbo lasers could destroy the Enterprise!" "NO WAY! Turbo lasers couldn't even get through their navigational shield!"

Hmmm... I'll agree with you. After your tactical posts in my other threads I have great respect for you CHIEF.

Sooo let's say ST at their peak... would they be able to take on the DOMINON ?

n BTW... did they show the DOMINION to be ever that inconsistent !?
