Nightmare
I'd just like to know what the cast of the various series considered their favorite to work on. So far I only know: Nana Visitor - Duet Armin Shimmerman - Far beyond the stars Michael Dorn - A courtroom episode on TNG Any others?
Arktis
Which episode was it, for Dorn's fav? The one about Data's rights or the Drumhead one? If there is another court oriented one, I can't recall.
Antipodean
That's really interesting. You raise a VERY good question! I must say, I'm with Armin Shimmerman's choice on thiis one. ;)
Exterus
I remember reading about one of the actors who said he hated almost everything star trek. Any idea who that was?
Arktis
Leonard Nimoy; it has to be.
TetsuoShima
Leonard Nimoy; it has to be. No, the guy really loves Star Trek, you should have a lookt TOS extras, most of the interviews were recorded in 2003 I believe. He talks about that, people thinking that he hates Star Trek. Appearently it has something to do with the title of one of his books: "I am not Spock". People who didn't read the book misinterpretted the meaning of the title and spread that rumor. He has spend quite a bit of time and effort ever since to oppose this idea. It even barred him form directing Star Trek III for a while, but he was able to talk sense in the studio bosses. So no, definately not Nimoy. This may surprise you, but Patrick Steward has said that he was tired of playing Picard and that Star Trek was not really his favourite, but I also don't think he ever said he hated it... So, I don't know who did really...

Well on that count I do remember an episode of "The Kumars at No. 42" (A British comedy chat show with an Indian bent) where Patrick Stewart was getting grilled about his Star Trek work as being somehow less compared to his theatre work. The thing is he proudly declard that all those years doing Shakespeare was simply preparation compared to sitting in the Captain's chair - or word's to that effect.
