Post your comments regarding episode 4x13 - United

I thought the episode was thrilling. I loved watching the story of the Federation begin to unfold. I especially appreciated the human willingness to obey the traditions of both the tellerites (in Babel One) and the Andorians. I believe is has a direct connection to our world, and how we should be accepting and understanding of other people's cultures.

My favorite line was definately Reed's remark, "You're good at building stuff, I'm good and blowing it up."

I did miss seeing Mayweather, Hoshi, and Dr. Phlox. They didn't seem to many, if any, spoken dialog.

In the end, a great episode that gets me itching to see the founding of the Federation. I hope the Series finale will be kind enough to give us more of what this arc has been setting up.

Wow. That was a great episode. Most touching was Talas' death. She was great :``(

At the other side: It was funny to see an Andorian with a cut antenna :-)

And it was very impressive to see Trip'n'Reed out in space and then: "Anybody out there need a lift?" and we see the somehow big Enterprise approaching, wooooooooooow.

Finally a very impressive and emotional episode with a great soundtrack.

I liked the episode and the arc. Even though I think they should have had only a 2 episode arc. Not becuase its not a great arc but because it seems like it is already over. We kinda know that they will destroy the ship or it will self destruct. They already know its romulans. And they have already united the species. Not much left.

Also as far as how it relates to us people on earth. Nite mentioned one way about how we should set our differences apart and unite..

In terms of conspiracy and stirring up trouble between different races, I thought it is very relevent to our situation on earth. The whole idea of a third party always screwing up a peace deal in the middle east for example. Just when the israelis and the palestineans are getting closer to talk or sit down to talk, there is another bombingss of some sort and it screws up the whole thing. Someone doesnt want them to live in peace. And it is not a religious thing even though some would like you to believe. It is political, it is about dictators and people in power. It is about oppression and holding control over the people.

There is alot of good reasons why they should mess up peace. Most of the people in the middle east are so caught up with the issue of palestine that they have forgotten that they live in dictatorship and opression themselves. People in those countries have been told that israel is the enemy so all their effort and anger is vented that way. And these dictators know that if there is peace in palestine, then their people wont have that to worry about and then they would start thinking about their own freedom in their respective countries like Syria, jordon, saudiarabia, etc..

Also these counties have a stake in destroying the elction process in Iraq. If the election in Iraq were a complete success, then people would wonder why couldnt they have free elections in saudi arabia or in syria or egypt. But if they disrupt it enough, then they could say well.. democracy doesnt really work.

Tthey might not have drone holographic ships.. but they certain ly have insurgents or militants either in palestine or in iraq.. and these people are pushing the buttons. I can imagine the dictator in syria giving orders to militants in both iraq and palestine. IF iraq is a succes then people in syria are going to wonder 'why not have elections in syria' or 'why cant we get rid of our dictator just like iraq is rid of saddam'

this episode is one of enterprise's best; better than any ds9 episode; it would even make a GREAT episode on the nextgen scale---one of trek's finest imo

I wonder what happened to the Andorian at the end.. he looked albino... and why was there an Andorian on Romulus (i'm guessing it was Romulus..)

anyways.. good episode.. that little ship is agile...

I guess thats their way of keeping people guessing until next friday.

I would speculate that his antena's have something to do with him flying that ship remotely. He seemed very scared.

Romulans seem to be developing some interesting technology. The regenration of the ship after it has been damaged. Thats like borg technology. AFter the bridge was blown up.. they had power/warp drive etc back online in a very short time.

It is a darn good prototype if you ask me.

Lmao you have to be bloody joking lol...yeah it was a great episode, like the previous one but to say it was better than any DS9 episode its abit of a strong statement, lets not forget classic DS9 such as The way of the warrior, trail & trubulations, scarice of angels, favour the bold plus afew others as well.

Yeah that was a good line so what the one when they got back on enterprise and trip says "malcolm you such a easy target" when he was winding him up about being put on report lmao

The albino andorian was not an andorian, he was some new telepathic species, if you watched the preview to 4x14 you would know this, you would also know how they fight it.

anywho, this arc is not over yet, i refuse to see the season finale till I see the special event that Daniels showed to archer in season 3....the signing of the charter. The reason archer could not die. As archer said, if he dies, starfleet willnot back out, which means archer is still vital to the timeline because the necessary event has not happened yet. (i know, everyone hates the Temp CW, but they still should tie up the loose ends that it opened)

ok, for the general public, I think daedalus was intentional. Season 3 and the nazi episodes were amazing on a general tv scale, even my roomate/best friend who HATES star trek, got into the xindi/nazi arc (really the same thing, which also includes the ep 4x03, 2x26) to the point that his life stopped on friday night. Season 4 was pretty good past that, mayby the writers just wanted to give everyone a break, once again show that enterprise is back to being a ship of exploration....unfortuantesly it was boring.

yea, my first double post

Naah, it's cool bro... previews, i feel, take the fun out of it ;)

Since there's is so little fun left (with the show being cancelled and all), it would be a shame to start draining away the fun now.

I don't speak for everyone though, so if others feel that they want a preview, by all means, upload it!

Thanks.
