anthonyisbad
not sure if this sites been posted on the forum yet but i find it has a lot of really good HQ promotional images in their gallery. be careful though some of the images are ahead of the actual story line so don't look ahead if you don't want it spoiled. http://galacticastation.com/
jadefalcon
No way to really tell from the episodes but I was looking closely when the Pegasus launched its Vipers to meet Galacticas and I didn't notice any Mark IIs from the Pegasus because I also wondered how they could have working Vipers. same thing with lee adama's viper MK VII.its still working ain't it? to me it that they modified the systems to be immune to the virus.,if u could do taht to one viper,i don;t see why u can;t do the same to a whole squad of vipers. USWhoFan
:mad:I can't quite remember since it's been so long, but... Remember in the original series when they met up with the other battlestar that had the "living legend" captain and they mounted a siege on the cylons. Afterwards the second battlestar took off and went it's own way. Maybe the Pegasus will have the same fate?
RatPunk
Actually, the original series Pegasus was believed to have been destroyed when it and Galactica attacked the two Cylon basestars in "Living Legend, Part 2".
Ryshtyan
Actually' date=' the original series Pegasus was believed to have been destroyed when it and Galactica attacked the two Cylon basestars in "Living Legend, Part 2".[/quote'] I remember the original series extremely well. Galactica and Pegasus had to contend with the two basestars. There's a screenshot where Pegasus comes between Galactica and the basestars and begins to home in on the both of them. Galactica flees, with a few of the Pegasus crew now with them. Pegasus is never seen nor heard from again. It is presumed destroyed. Now, there was only one real season of Battlestar Galactica (I don't count 1980...that was all just a really bad dream) and if there had been a 2nd maybe the Pegasus would have appeared again, maybe not. I doubt it. As for this current series, I can see numerous possibilities. The Pegasus is destroyed and that's it. Whatever is left of it's people will fall now begin to share the same fate that lies before Galactica. Another possibility is the Pegasus is boarded by Cylons, but the battlestar is set on a self-destruct order and blows up. Or, the Pegasus disappears and we are all left wondering if it becomes destroyed, or if it will reappear later down the road.
Tenebrae
I thought that maybe it would get destroyed in Resurrection Part 2...
Ryshtyan
I'm guessing with Admiral Cain gone and with Commander Fisk now in charge, I figure there'll be an upcoming episode where the Pegasus will be sacrificed in order to ensure Galactia's survival and it's civilian fleet. That's pretty much what happened in the original series, so I'm assuming we'll see something similar to that. Or, Gina uses the nuclear device she got from Baltar on the Pegasus as revenge for what they did to her while she was onboard over there. This I can see happening as well. Marcroft
Potential Spoilers - don't read on unless you want too. Well with Frisk dead - and the apparent new Commander being unstable - I would guess that the ship well end up leaving the fleet, before trying to take what they can. That ship and crew is used to taking what they want - Frisk being involved in the Black Market - trying to take too much - which resulted in his murder. I think that the Pegasus will rebel against the last remains of civilisation.
