maverick Posted January 19, 2006 Share Posted January 19, 2006 cool post dude! it will be exciting to see the results tho its a shame they cant drill away from a subduction zone. the magmatic content will be reasonably new and made partly of suducted plate materials. also there will be water in the samples which acts as a volatile. would be interesting to see the mineral composition of fresh magma from elsewhere. ....but hey i dont want to sound ungrateful :rolleyes: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
