A touching moment to the end of the arc. The episode definately wasn't as gripping as the first episode, but the battle scenes were good. I really thought that Trineer did a great job as Trip this episode, he really showed some great emotion and his attempts to deal with them. So, I guess Trip is off to Columbia!

Well... A weak ending for great 3-episode arc; but the ending was (again) really touching. Trip goes to Columbia... wow. Well If Enterprise would have a 5th season, it would be great to see adventures of both ships together. No Malcolm-Trip-Adventures anymore; but I think this is the beginning of a big series of changes in the next episodes (read the spoilers!).

Back to this episode:

It was fun to see another species with antennas ;-)

And the Romulans weren't only he bad guys. Valdores subordinate (can I say this? I mean the grey-haired guy) was feeling for the Aenar but finally I missed a sequence which shows what happens to to Valdore after all.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh' date=' I feel like i'm counting down to my own death. NOw what, 10, 12 more episodes without trip, c'mon you killed it, upn, now stop beating it.[/quote']

Good.......I'm glad Trip's gone. Had Trip not been around, T'Pol & Archer would've been together, possibly even married!!

.......But no! Someone (possibly Braga) had a brain fart & hooked her to Trip, which made no sense at all!

The 175MB-Version is out of sync. Not much, but noticible. But it's good watchable anyway and a hell of an episode.

I liked Trip, that last scene was one of the most intense scences I have seen on Enterprise. Really touching.

And the fx where fairly good - the "City" looked cool - of course, 'cause it IS ;)

It's such a shame they canceled it...

I thought it was an interesting episode like the other two. It was nice to get off the ship for a while and see the ice world.

If you remember from TOS, they landed on some planet on almost every episode and most of it was filmed there. I thought they over did it. However to film the whole episode on the ship is also over doing it. Star trek is about exploring the stars as well as the various types of planets and species there.

I felt bad for the Enar to die but it was nice to see the little attachment between Enaar and the blue skin (Shran).

As far as Trip, I think he will either remain for a few episode until his transfer is completed or he may change his mind. Of course he may disapear from future episode all together but I doubt we have seen the last of him. We stil have to see T'pal's reaction. She may have no reaction at all. Or she may break through her volcun skin and try to stop trip.

T'paul: How can you leave me Trip? I left my husband so I can be here with you. I love you!

Trip: You have a funny way of showing it. I didnt get any sense that you were even remotely interestd.

T'paul: It was not logical to show my emotions but now I have no choice since you are leaving me.

Trip: I love you too. I dont want to leave you.

They hug each other

Captain archer walks in on them.

Archer: oh, I am sorry. I better get back to the bridge.

Oh? I created it on the computer at work since I had to work last night. I admit that I didn't watch the encode much before releasing it. I don't even have a copy here at home =)

I just played it on my piece of crap computer........It isn't out of sync.

.......I bet it won't be when I play it on my DivX DVD Player, either.

Well, I said it isn't much. It's very ovious in the dialogues Trip/T'Pol and Trip/Phlox behind the "graticule" in sick bay.

I checked it again... it is out of sync. As said, not much, but noticible.

Well, I'll load it again in a few hours, maybe there are a few loose screws in my file ;)

I'm just grasping at straws, but what if "enterprise" gets cancelled to give way for a new series called "columbia"? A newer sister ship with newer equipment and new a crew to get to know (except Trip).

...probably not...it'll just end up with Trip leaving for columbia and just before he leaves T'pol will declare her hidden and undying love...blablabla..."I declare you man and wife".....

Ah crap, Trip's leaving... that sux!

As for the audio/video synch issue, I do believe that there is a very slight problem... not VERY noticeable, but just enough to be annoying at times. Hopefully, someone could release a fixed version or at least show me how to do it in VirtualDub (but preferably in VirtualDubMod).

When Nelix left Voyager, they still had contact with him.

Seska came back a lot. Kes came back too. Q was always around. Worf came back to the Enterprise for the movies.

I don't even want to bother with the rest.

Trip ain't gone. He's just ... well... gone. But he ain't gone. YaknowhatImean? :D

I like Trip. In this ep, he started to act like Paris a bit, no? It's sad to see the buddy combo with Malcolm going bye-bye.

Great ep. Andoria was interesting save only having 2 sets.

Again...great ep.

I thought the brother thing seemed a bit "star trek convienient" if you catch my drift, but the Trip thing hit me a little hard. I guess the writers were anticipating more seasons and wanted to change things up. It's too bad that it's going to be more of an afterthought rather than a real shift in the dynamic of the series.

Every series needed to make changes as it went along, (dax, kes, seven, tasha yarr) I just wish that this one wasn't going to be aborted before the show can re-find itself
