Pella
The end of another week an up goes the next poll. I wonder if the 5 Doctors will have the same sucess as the 3 Doctors?
Fenriswolf
I had to vote for the 5 Doctors as it is a wonderful tribute to the previous incarnations of that time, their companions and brings back my all time favourite Master :) Not to mention it shows the flaws in Timelord society and how barbaric their anscestors were. Freman
People just like Enlightenment because of Tegan's boobs. :) Got my vote!!!
Cypha01
So many to choose from, again another solid season. Really love the entire Black guardian trilogy. Snakedance is cool....Arc of infinity is nice too..five doctors is FUN but not a classic IMO. I think overall Mawdryn Undead gets my vote. Aliens that arent trying to kill people but just want to die, not just want brig but two, a neat time travelling more complex story. Turlough is also an interesting adition as he isnt a "nice" companion but one that wants to kill the doctor!
Moonstalker
Five Doctors simply because of 5 Doctors. Nice to see some of the old faces and the characterizations were spot on. (Nothing funnier than watching Sarah Jane mime Tom Baker and Jon Pertwee say "All teeth and curls...")
Potato
Had to vote for Mawdryn as it really does do something different with the time travel side of things.
Hrimmer
I had to go with Mawdryn as well, I love the surrealistic nature of Enlightenment, as well as Turloughs role in it. But Mawdryn was a completely different take on familiar time travel themes.
USWhoFan
Had to go with the 5 Doctor's, but sure was a close one with Mawdryn Undead. :) But ya'know, Turlough always bugged me for some reason. Maybe because he was technically a "mole".
Potato
We have a tie so far. Hope the suspense lasts.
underscore
I had to go with the five. Simply for the fact that it has some old favorites like Mr Troughton, Sarah Jane etc...... The ending was a little cheesey but when has cheese ever put me off sci fi?
Potato
Besides....Cheese is a good source of calcium.
drken
Once you take away the novalty of having 5 doctors (and there were really only three) I think the story was kind of weak. But, it used to be one of my favorates.
underscore
You may well have a point there, but its still a crowd pleaser :)
drken
You know, Arc of Infinity was technically the first Colin Baker story. I think he made a better guard, but that's just me. ...Two timeloard stories in one season, has to be JNT.
Pella
And he got to shoot the current Doctor too!!!! You can imagine the words that should have been said... "Step away from the part or blow your head off";)
Pella
Oh dear, another tie-break. Two incredibly difficult to judge stories. I like both of these. I love the romp of the 5 doctors, but I also love the time travel twist of Mawdryn undead. I going to have to go with Mawdryn because of the scene where David Collings convinces the Docotr's companions that he is the Doctor and has regenerated again.
