I think the funniest moment for me was a Worf moment on DS9 when Rom thinks that the Ferengi homeworld has been taken over by the Dominion, and Rom yells to Sisko somethign like this:

"Can you imagine the consequences to the alpha quadrant if the dominion take over Ferenginar"

and in the background, almost un-noticable, you hear worf:

"I cannot think of one"

I cracked at that.

LOL. Didn't catch that.

In TNG Episode 1x03 The Naked Now: Data: "Confirmed sir. And there was rather peculier limrick, being delivered by someone in the shuttle craft bay. I am not sure I understand it. 'There was a young lady from Venus, whose body was shaped like...'" Picard: "Captain to security!...."

Ahh data. Funny stuff... That and his "wide variety of pleasuring." That episode made me laugh and laugh.

did have a right laugh when data creates his daughter...she is in the bar helping out and riker walks in starts flirting with her and data walks in asking if he had any intensions towards his daughter

Haha, yeah that was a great episode (for the humor that you mentioned and its sentimentality).

  • 1 year later...

in Haven: Troi:Stop this petty bickering,|all of you! Especially you, Mother!Data:Could you please continue|the petty bickering?I find it most intriguing.the last outpost: data with his fingers"entrapped" in a chinese finger stick, Riker and Geordi smiling at each other:- Data, what are you doing?|- Apologies, Captain.I seem to have reached an odd...functional impasse.I am... stuck.Get unstuck|and continue the briefing. That is what I am trying to do, sir,|but the solution eludes me.My hero!Continue, Commander.Intriguing." later, Riker to Picard : Permission to beam a box|of Data's Chinese finger puzzles over to the Ferengi. A thank you for all they tried to do.Make it so."Q making Data laugh all loud out of the blue and with no reason as a reward for saving his ass(when Qhas lost powers). actually, the whole episode was funny. Now what?-Something's wrong with my stomach.-It hurts?-It's making noise.-Maybe you're hungry.I've never eaten before. What do I ask for?The choice of meal is determined by individual tastes. What do you like?Although I do not require sustenance,I occasionally ingest a semi-organic nutrient suspension-in a silicon-based liquid medium. It doesn't sound too appealing. What else is there?A wide variety of items. The replicator can make anything you desire. How do I know what I desire?I have observed that the selection of food is often influencedby the mood of the person ordering.I'm in a dreadful mood. Get me something appropriate. When Counselor Troi is unhappy, she usually eats something chocolate...Chocolate...A Chocolate sundae, for example.-I'll have 10 hot fudge sundaes.
-Ten?I have never seen anyone eat ten.I'm in a really bad mood. And since I've never eaten before,I should be very hungry. This is not a moment I've been looking forward to.I heard you were drummed out of the continuum.I'd like think it as a significant career change.-Just one of the boys, huh?The Captain and much of the crew are not yet convinced that he is truly human.Really? Is that right?(she stabs him with a fork, he yells )Seems human enough to me."

gambit:Picard, Riker & Data:

P:Number One, set a course for Starbase 227. I'll be on the bridge.

R:Wait. You've been declared dead. You can't give orders around here.

D:If we are to adhere to the exact, letter of Starfleet regulations, then you have been declared

a renegade. I believe you face 12 countsof court-martial offences. You cannot give orders either, sir.

That's quite right.

P: As I am supposed to be dead,I'll go and get some sleep. Mr Data, I suggest you escort Cmdr Riker to the brig.

D:Aye, sir. (Riker wants to go, but Data stops him)

This way, sir.

R: Data, he was joking.

You know that, right? Data!

thanks, TetsuoShima. the truth is there are so many funny moments...

here's another one: Encounter at Farpiont, Riker meets Data for the first time:

-Nice to meet you...Pinnochio! Data looks puzzled, doesn't understand, so Riker explains:

-A joke!

-A! Intriguing!"

one I liked very much, in Disaster: they're stucked on Ten forward, Worf and Keiko O'Brien helping the wounded. Keiko is about to give birth, with only Worf to assist her:

Keiko?

- I'm alright. I think.

- Perhaps you should lie down.

-I'm having contractions.

-That is not uncommon in the late months of pregnancy.

-No, I mean contractions.

I'm going into labour.

-You cannot. This is not a good time, Keiko.

-It's not open for debate!

-Like it or not, this baby is coming!(...)

-Your contractions are now only 30 seconds apart.

-Dilation has gone to seven centimetres

since the onset of labour.

That did not take long.

-That's easy for you to say!

-You are doing very well. I'm sure the child will arrive soon.

-Worf, has the baby turned?

- Turned?

- So the head is down.

Dr Crusher told me a few days ago it hadn't. She wasn't worried because I still had a month to go.

-I am not certain. Can't you tell?

-Worf, have you ever done this before, delivered a baby?

-Yes.

-No. I took the Starfleet

Emergency Medical course.

-Sometimes it doesn't go by the book, Worf.

-Congratulations. You are fully dilated to ten centimetres. You may now give birth.

- That's what I've been doing!

Well, bearing down is the next stage. It should start at full dilation.

- Why has it not begun?

-How should I know!I don't think it's up to me. It happens when it happens.

The computer simulation was not like this. That delivery was very orderly.

- Well, I'm sorry!

-Did you feel

an uncontrollable urge to push?Good. You are bearing down.I must urge you gently but firmly

to push harder.Push, Keiko! Push.

I am pushing!

I think one of the funnest moments is when Quark and his group of mercenaries are training on the holodeck to resuce Quarks mom and they are fighting with the Jem'Hedar and they fail so the assassin kills Quarks mom, haha. It totaly caught me off guard when i watched it and I was laughing for a while.

Tos, can't remember the episode, when the ships messed up or something and Kirk realises that he's just beamed two redshirts into space -or solid rock -I can't remember, and he says something along the lines of 'Then the men I just sent down are dead.'

As far as I can recall the instance where Kirk showed the least evidence of distress at having ordered people to their deaths.

Please - anyone remember which episode this was?

The funniest moment I remember is also a Worf moment from the episode "Q who?" (I think).

Q is on the bridge complaining to Picard about how he is being mistreated by his fellows, they of course don't believe him and he says "What do I have to do to convince you people?".

"Die!" replies Worf.

It makes me smirk just thinking of it.

Thats my funniest star trek moment too :P I like it when worf said something to Q and Q replied "Ah, the pea brain. Ate any good books latly?" (i think) (sry for spelling mistakes :P)
