TFMF
Based on the Who's the best tactical thinker? thread. Who is the best Tactical Thinker out of Star Trek overall? I'd say.... Michael Eddington or maybe Seska...or maybe Picard....or Weyoun.....Shinzon as well....
TetsuoShima
Riker get's my vote! :)
Tenebrae
Riker and Data have in their time both done some pretty awesome tactical thinking. Data's command of the Sutherland was - despite being in contradiction of orders (as if anyone in Trek ever gave a damn about that) he did an ace job and Riker has repeatedly shown he can do tactical pretty well. I'm not sure one could describe Eddington's thinking as tactical.
Dracoons
The picard move thingy, its mandotary stuff on the Academy these days.
Mav
Worf is pretty good in a straight up battle, but lotta people always come outta left field with some crazy stuff that somehow works. Data is a definite canidate. I gotta vote Riker.
Arktis
Khan was hands down the best tactical thinker. Unfortunately, he was short on 22nd century wisdom, and driven by a blind thirst for vengeance fostered by years of isolation on a deslolate planet. My 2nd vote goes to either Kirk or Riker. I wonder who would win in a face-off betwen the two of them.
remedyu
Picard for the "Picard Maneuver" I'm just a big Picard fan!!! Can't help myself.
Guest c4evap
Seska gets my vote. Very cunning. Devious. Totally out for herself. c4 B)

Tenebrae
I have to say allying yourself with a race as ugly and stupid as the Kazon and then having sex with one of them is neither cunning, nor devious. It's called a bad Friday night out.
TFMF
haha - well she didn't exactly have a choice - they may have been ugly and stupid - but she needed to capture voyager - and they were stupid enough to help her... :)
Exterus
Tuvok and General/Chancellor Martok are some valid candidates. Gul Dukat too, if he hadn't been such a egomaniac and later on completely insane (ie, fanatically religious).
GhostShadow
Based on the Who's the best tactical thinker? thread. Who is the best Tactical Thinker out of Star Trek overall? I'd say.... Michael Eddington or maybe Seska...or maybe Picard....or Weyoun.....Shinzon as well.... Totaly agree with them all, especialy Shinzon. In the book "Tales of the Dominion war" Shinzon did some pretty awsome stuff. I would hate to be the Jem'Hedar fighing the Remens under Shinzons Leadership, lol. I might Add Major Kirya as well. She did after all help Garak and Dumar run a "coup" to over through the Dominion.
TFMF
I think most of the characters in DS9 were good tactitions.... Voyager didn't exactly have that many - apart from maybe Tuvok... and Seska TNG had Picard, Riker, Data, Worf. I think what helped DS9 is they had so many secondary characters and they all play their characters well - Voyager had a hint of this in Season 1 and 2 - we saw lots of secondary characters like Seska and that leader of the Kazon Nistrim (can't say his name) and i really liked those seasons of Voyager but then by the time we got to Season 3 they had killed off all the tactitions and we were left with just the Main crew.... Tenebrae
They were erased from time by the Krenim. In fact, watch carefully and the Krenim appear at the end of every episode and alter time so that none of the events of that episode ever occured. Tenebrae
Going back in time and erasing an entire race from time probably qualifies as a good tactic.
