mrhumpty
The expectiations of the real Fans exeeded every realistic level. There will be no show that they like - it just can't. Someone pointet out 93 errors in Nemesis. On that basis, you have no chance of satisfieing the audience. You will always lose. Isn't it ironic - the biggest fans kill what they love. I've been saying this for years. It is truely sad for those of us who above all want the saga to continue. I will say that some of the episodes weren't of TNG quality, it has been nice to have something new to watch. Now we have nothing. TNG, VOY, DS9 all took a few years to get their footing. ENT, even with the fanatical fans picking at ever fact & detail, was just now starting to impress me with exciting episodes. Hell ENT is the first Movieable series since TNG and I doubt that is going to happen now. If everybody had just been happy to have a new experience and watched out of support this wouldn't have happened. Mission Accomplished I guess for those who have been hoping for ENT to die. Now what are we going to do.

Erm if they cancel ENT as a series do you really think they will make a movie, I seriously doubt it. Secondly its not the only series out of Trek that can made into a movie both TNG and DS9 are possiblities. Also I doubt that they only just made this decision either as it would of took time to get the scripts together and the teleplay done for the rest of the season, i suspect this has been planned since the beinging of season 4 if not earlier I've been saying this for years. epyonx1
Ah. Good thing I never started watching Enterprise. :) TNG can't be beat. Period.

We do without Star Trek for at least 3 years, according to Braga & Bermann. .......I think they knew. I really do. The ones who need to go are the bumblebees, not Star Trek.
bbbb
United was good, on par with the better Voyager, DS9 and TNG episodes. I hope the rest of the season is just as good. They must be mad to cancel Enterprise!
Chewbacca
Ah. Good thing I never started watching Enterprise. :) TNG can't be beat. Period. I must agree there. However, it would be a shame for there to be no Star Trek on TV.
wolf
Well, there was a hell of a time gap between TOS and TNG so let's hope something good will eventually emerge from this enforced rest. B)
clwnkllr
:(, that sucks that enterprise is canceled. I don't think they realize how many people actually download and watch enterprise. On that site they say just 2,500,000 people watched babel 1, I am sure if not already in a few weeks more than twice that many people will have downloaded it. Although it was not all that big of a surprise to me that it got canceled, I really think it was just starting to get good. I was looking forward to seeing the federation get formed, etc. I think enterprise was a good idea but they started off too slowly in the beginning and scared everyone away. UtahLugers
I keep getting the feeling that they are pulling a fast one on us. I wonder how many people write in about what they did wrong after the episode has been aired? Like someone said, this is Movie quality stuff (I just wish Archer would pipe down on his freaking out yelling at everyone). A few movies, a bunch of re-runs, and then a new series with a HOT female captain.....(not saying Janeway wasn't, but hey, I can wish for more :) ), or do something with the Titan class..... I'm up for any of it, but they may have some neat stuff for us in store that we are not opening our minds to.
law
I love enterprise... I place it above voyager. Sucks that its gonna be cancelled. Will have to have a wake.

VonHelton
I keep getting the feeling that they are pulling a fast one on us. I thought so too, at first......... But, as far as I know, this is the "real deal".......Star Trek is dead, for at least 3 years, if not longer. :(

Is it possible? Maybe... but I don't think they will want to create a movie out of a show they think was failing after the latest TNG movie with a modest showing. And you are on crack if you think DS9 is movieable. Maybe if the leave the station and go exploring... Its too bad that paramount would never give ENT a chance, crappy channel, no advertising, crappy timeframe. Hell I didn't even know about ENT until the end of Season 2. I never read websites about Star Trek but I am a hell of a Star Trek fan like my father. Neither of us knew about the show till then and started watching/downloading religiously after finding it. RIP Star Trek, its time to become hooked on BattleStar Galactica
diesel82
nice...those production leaders killed the only star trek series, that gave me this certain familiar feeling based on continious character development and great storylines. it never was this freaky like st:tng, where all characters were somehow artificial and sterile. it never had this wanna-be heroish look of ds9. it was more like tos, voyager or babylon5...too bad, this series was one which could have even pleased star-trek haters. guess thats the reason why it has been stopped. ps : thanx to this great site, which gave me the opportunity of watching all ent episodes...i always missed in tv, coz i thought its crap...and i was damn wrong. bbbb
Concerning the comments on DS9 being movieable if they leave the station... Didn't the best episodes (like the tribbles one) HAPPEN when they left the station? Once more I say the posts on this website are right on the ball. Enterprise IS the most movieable Trek spinoff after TNG. Such a shame they cancelled it when its SO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. It's defenitely the one that would please Star Trek haters.
