quosego
Firefox, it kills those annoying popups and I can easily transport my custom stuff from one install to the next.

TFMF
I've upgraded to the Opera 9 Preview 2. Now is it just me or does my Avatar display faster with that version? :)
TetsuoShima
yeah, there is no real standard for 'speed' of animated gif's, it differs a bit between different browsers.
TFMF
Oh right ok - it's actually slowed down again....weird... but anyway - Opera is great - just wish there were more plug-ins
magestorm
I tried Opera, and found Firefox worked better once I tweaked it up.
USWhoFan
I tried FF' date=' but I hate its tab implementation. Opera never opens a new Opera window, every page is always opened in a new tab. Firefox you have to middle click to get a new tab rather than a new window. What's the point of tabs if you can have 3 windows open each with 3 tabs? That's just crazy.[/quote'] They must have had a few complaints about that. Now in the options you can set Firefox to open the link in a new window, in a new tab or in the same window with a primary click.
Guest Mrthumps
I use firefox and have no real issues or problems with it. I'll flip back to Explorer every once in a while when I enocunter a page that doesn't like firefox but those are beocming rarer and rarer these days. USWhoFan
 Why is it that it seems that IE is by far not the most popular browser, at least here, but places like CNET & ZD claim it's still got over 80% of the public. You think the public numbers are skewed or are we just ahead of the curve?

You think the public numbers are skewed or are we just ahead of the curve? I would say because IE is what ships with computers. Most people don't think enough to get a better browser. Same reason why so many MAC users got hit with that trojan: more and more people are buying computers for the first time without any previous computer training.
