Pella
it's for Mr Shouty to to have a go. I'll admit even at the time I enjoyed Colin Baker as the Doctor and looked forward to his long stint as hinted in an interview on Blue Peter. oh well at least there is the big finidh plays... (TTOATL) = Indicate those stories that form The Trial Of A Timelord season. A quote from Vengeance On Varos: Vote Now!!!!
Bob43434
Okay I found it difficult. I did enjoy revelations of the Daleks (although after Genisis Dalek stories started to go downhill, possibl because Terry Nation stopped writing them) but I ralso enjoyed Cyberman. At the end of the day I quite enjoyed most of his two seasons and really wished he did do the 5 years he signed on for. But at least we have BF for that. In the End I voted Daleks becuase They always end up being my favourite. One question though. Why didn't you split this poll into season like the last polls. TTOATL should have been a seperate vote. It was his second season and their was an 18 moth gap between Daleks and The Mysterious Planet.
Pella
Basically for 3 reasons: 1. Even splitting TTOATL into seperate stories, Colin only has 11 stories and that fits nicely into 1 poll. (All the previous Doctors had more than 15, so made sense to split them into seasons) 2. I'd like to finish this poll before David Tennant starts properly, then we can use our favourite story as a benchmark 3. I've been at this for a good half a year and the finish is in sight - It really has been like running a marathon. oh and 4. I have a sneaking suspicion that Genesis Of The Daleks will win and I want to know I guessed right!:)
underscore
voted 2 doctors! It has some shockingly bad points in all fairness, but its got my hero Pat Toughton in it and that makes it a no contest winner :)
USWhoFan
:cyclops: Go ahead and laugh, but I voted for "Terror Of The Vervoids", I don't know why but I've always liked that one. But I do have to say there are several I could have picked.

underscore
3 Cheers USwho!! I always respect an individual pick so much more than the 'accepted wisdom'. Didnt that story have honor blackman in it?!?!? An appearance by an avengers girl is a huge plus imo :)

B) And yes it did, although not quite the Avenger anymore. ;)
underscore
I think honor blackman was the only avengers regular ever to appear in who, correct me if im wrong! I always thought that the pertwee era's who and assistant relationship and vintage car was kinda modeled on steed / peel avengers....... the man eater of surrey green was plagiarised for the seeds of doom as well wasnt it? nicey nicey zoo zoo...... Potato
I voted for Varos. Any story that comes under fire for being what it was making a point about has got a lot going for it.

underscore
Sorry matey, I pick the avengers over bond any day :) but yeah, there were some hot ex avengers girls in bond too :) Dianna Rigg in the late 60s colour episodes!! YOW!! Its not suprising to see the dalek story in the lead here though. Wonder if it will stay in lead? (probably!!)
Moonstalker
I really liked Attack of the Cybermen although I'm not really sure why. But I voted for The Two Doctors because of 2 Doctors, Nicola running around in shorts (that's a no brainer), and a fairly intersting twist on genetics. underscore
Yeah, everything you said above moonstalker and its got some positively delirious over acting :) always gotta love it when that happens :) WooHoo, overacting kicks ass!!!!
TFMF
Revelation of the Daleks - deffinetly not one of the best Dalek stories - but one of the best Colin Baker stories...
Pella
Wow, looking at the number of people voted you can see why the series was put on hiatus suring Colin's era! This has to be lowest count yet, shuddersCan't wait for tomorrow when we do Sylvester McCoy's stories!!!!
Pella
Well we have another tie breaker situation here. I'm going to have go with 'Revelation' because I like the adult themes of the story and was particularly impressed with the aging assassin played by William Gaunt. The only downside for me was Alexi Sayle as the DJ - part that was completely unneccesary to the story.
