He doesn't say what it is, but they've confirmed that Frakes and Sirtis will be on it - I'm guessing a return of crewman Daniels and something to do with time travel, combining the USS Titan and Enterprise NX-01 in some kind of mission...

I just agonized through 26 damn episodes of T'Pol and Tucker tip-toeing around each other about how they're in love, and then T'Pol having to marry that Vulcan patukh Koss! to save her mother's position...

Dammit I want Trip and T'Pol to get togehter, they can't do that while she's married, (I'm on Borderland) They damn well better have some kind of spectacular get together in the last ep, it's been thrown in the fans' faces for 4 seasons that they have a thing for each other, if they're going to kill the show they damn well at least need to end on the right note!

Bear in mid that T'Pol was originally going to hook up with Archer.......She was watching him on the beach since he was a child.

.....Literally. (See Broken Bow)

This Trip thing was a pizza induced brain fart by either Bermann or Braga.

:stare:

I don't think cameo-ing any other established Star Trek persona is a very good idea for the finale. Startrek.com says the last two or three episodes will be about the formation of the Federation. Humanity's last hurdle is in fact humanity itself. Cameo-ing other persona just seems too desperate for me.

How is it an act of desperation? it's not like they can save Enterprise with a last fantastic viewer turnout, they've said that...They probably can't even save it if SaveEnterprise raised $100 million.

According to Berman in his words, the finale will be a special 'valentine' to fans, I guess a gift for the fans since they know they fucked up and pissed a way a perfectly good show.

VH tho, I don't think T'Pol and Archer could ever have made it together, think back through star trek history...Captains sort of by custom never get with anyone onboard *officially* (All Good Things' flashforward with Beverly and Picard doesn't count b/c it was in an alternate timeline in the future).

I think it was the perfect irony to have Trip and T'Pol get together because Trip is the an embodiment of everything vulcans are tought to fear and despise in humanity and Trip's despised Vulcans all his life. not only that but he's the only male on that ship who hasn't expressed interest in T'Pol besides Travis.

Archer and T'Pol's relationship I think is like Picard and Riker's - it just so happens she's a busty rapturously gorgeous vulcan instead of a tall Alaskan guy. :D

Anyway my rant about T'Pol marrying Koss was because I was still in the early part of Season 4 - I hadn't watched Kir'Shara yet and seen her marriage dissolved...but once I did I was just waiting for the next awkward moment between T'Pol and Trip when they realize "Hey, the coast is clear!" ;)

They'll get together now, I'm sure of it.

I agree. Maybe they're just hoping to get a couple of thousand more viewers so they can say Enterprise went out with a bang. :D As for the theory with time travel and the Titan... Jesus, haven't we seen enough time travel shit for the next 5 Treks?

Well I'd get used to the idea because they've admitted that Frakes and Sirtis are guest-staring in the finale and Jolene said in her radio interview there was a "Next Generation tie-in" so to me it's pretty obvious they're going to show the USS Titan in some form.

I got tired of the time travel too, i liked that season 4 got away from that...But come on, do you like the show or don't you, quit whining ;) :p

What I've heard so far is that Riker and Troi are in the finale, as themselves... but no time travel. The only way that works that I can think of is if the show ends with a charter/treaty/alliance being signed by Andorians, Tellarites, Humans and Vulcans, to form a pre-runner to the actual UFP (which would only properly form in that name after the Romulan Wars in 2161), then pull out to see Riker and Troi in the ready room of the USS Titan, where they make some comments on the events they have just seen (nothing silly, I hope), without giving too much away, in case a Romulan Wars series or film is green lighted 5 years down the road, or if Enterprise somehow gets a 5th season.

You may very well be right, but I still don't have to like it. ;)

tadair where did you get the idea there will be no time travel? Like VH said, Manny's not doing the finale, Braga and Berman are - so I wouldn't be surprised if Daniels comes back into the picture with that Temporal Cold War again for a final mission of some sort.

Plus...they were building up the Romulan involvement in the past few episodes, with the drones...And in Nemesis we know that Riker left onto the Titan as flagship of a peace fleet heading for Romulus to begin negotiations for an Alliance...The fact that the Titan is talking peace with the Romulans in the 24th century, and that Enterprise has been engaged by them in secret in the 22nd...There could be something related that will allow them to tie it together there.

By the way, does anybody know if it's 22, 24, or 26 episodes for season 4?

I still hold a little bit of hope that these "rumors" will bear fruit and season 5 will go to sci fi or somewhere...I mean there's no damn good reason not to, people watch SCI FI who are INTO science fiction...That or spike TV perhaps, Spike does that big star trek lineup...They would get good ratings there
