ENT: New Trek Movie

Furthermore' date=' I am sick of time travel on Trek. After all the pointless eps of Voyager & Enterprise where something happens in an alternate timeline which is eventually averted thus saving "our" timeline, I will throw feces at the movie screen like a goddamn ape if I have to deal with that in the next movie. Three sucky movies in a row is beyond the pale.[/quote']

How come there's never any stories involving time travel where everything goes tits up? Some bastard from an alternate universe should come along and do something nasty which no-one can stop and it results in no federation/starfleet and a loss of technology and every one ends up fending for themselves and being vigilant.

I wouldn't hold my breath, it is being produced by Rick f*****g Berman, I wouldn't be surprised if it goes same way as Nemesis, straight to dvd and video rentals.

Berman says ppl are tiered if Star trek, it needs to rest, I say ppl are sick and tiered of Rick Berman, he needs to rest say for eternity and be gone for good from star trek universe.

I definatly agree!

The writer of the movie talked like he'll kill off over half the cast, if not all of them, so don't expect a series from this movie.

i guess i could see a huge war, but against species 8472. there is a lot that could be done. and i could just see the ol' Q family sitting off watching the whole thing. Big Q telling Little Q how easy it is to spin up a war or don't play with the borg, or who knows...but just cause there species left on good terms last time doesn't mean, they don't still feel the need to purge our galaxy.

That's a good idea. If they used Species 8472 for the next Trek movie, they could try a savvy horror approach like Pitch Black. You know, make it edgy and actually scary.

Kinda like they did in ENT: Impulse, with the Vulcan "zombies."
