This is definately a bad sign.....

(in interview with Jolene Blalock)

There is an awkward silence when the subject of the final episode is broached. "I don't know where to begin with that one," she finally stammers. "The final episode is ... appalling."

:(

But don't cry for Jolene Blalock  for her, unemployment is likely to be a very temporary situation.

"I'm just coming from an audition right now," she reveals, "and I'm very excited about it.

"I love auditioning, the entire process, going out and meeting people in the industry. It's been four years since I've been out pounding the pavement, and I miss it. It's a place of the unknown, and a place of infinite possibilities. And I like that."

If she's out auditioning for another show, then I guess our hope that Spike TV would pick the show up has failed........

Damn!!

Blalock always makes very clear that she doesn't like Enterprise.

I don't know what problem she has, but I don't give a damn on her thoughts.

Well after the bull$h1t they've put her through over the past 4 years, can u blame her?! first she's arher's romantic interest, then malcolm expresses an interest in her (the "nice bum" comment), but then they hook her up with trip. wtf?

Jolene Blalock & John Billingsley complain alot because they care......They are true ST Fans, unlike the rest of the cast.

Dominic may be as well, but I'd hafta check......

The Toronto Star says that T'Pol was emotionless. This cannot be true as she was very much emotional throughout the run of the series. Only Leonard Nimoy could play a vulcan properly as he was clearly without emotion.

Live long and prosper.

Leonard Nimoy mainly lacked the capacity to convey emotions. For proof try to find his Bilbo Baggins video.

T'Pol is different in many aspects and her part stresses the fact that Vulcans only suppress their emotions. Very often I get the impression she wants to add something in an heated argument and then gets a grip on herself and turns away. That struggle is much more interesting and contrasts nicely with the 'stiff-upper-lip'- mentality of Malcom who as a British would be the closest equivalent on Earth to a Vulcan suppressing his/her emotions. :)

Yes. Star Trek is not about partial nudity. It is nice' date=' but uncalled for.[/quote']

Actually, I should think that revealing how foolish our social taboos about nudity are would be right in-line with Trek philosophy. What is not of the Trek nature would be exploiting nudity (partial or otherwise) and/or cultural norms of "beauty" in order to increase ratings. Instead, work like Spencer Tunick's Naked States art expo (and the movie of the same name) help to show the beauty and the vulnerability of the human condition without pandering to commercial values of "beauty" which objectify and diminish subject and viewer alike.

T'Pol's difference is what makes her exactly the same as every other Vulcan we've seen as main character on a Trek. Spock is half human, Tuvok loses his mind every once in a while, even the android Data has to have emotions sometimes. Can't emotionless ever mean just that, emotionless?

Mild T&A has been a part of Trek since the beginning, thanks to Gene Rodenberry. I hope I'm not the only person on the forum who has seen the Gene Rodenberry-directed soft-core film Pretty Maids All in a Row. Raise your hands, Rock Hudson fans!
