VonHelton
Note that this is NOT the holodeck.......It's a holographic SIMULATOR. What's the difference?? A holodeck is something based on FACT. Yes, you can manipulate it, but the basic premise remains the same. A holographic simulator, by contrast, is where you test THEORIES & IDEAS......Not things based on fact. In other words, ENT is a farce......A joke. Something made up, best I know of now. .....To say that I'm infuriated doesn't even begin to come close.
vystral
I dunno. I think the final episode will be the Rikers for some reason commemorating the hostoric NX-01. They make a simulation to commemorate it. This would be a better ending than the whole series not being real.

xtremeskiing
Enterprise is not some stupid holodeck program for those two. Lets boycott that episode (im just saying that, you really thing ill do it) booo b&b
werecow
this just figgers...whenever B&B couldnt think of anything to do they did 'holodeck' thingy...cute for a while but boring after the 20th or 30th time...kinda lets you know how much they really care about Enterprise when they do a 'series finale' on basically what has been a backup story since they ran out of ideas one week for TNG. i have always felt like when they did a holodeck thingy it was just cause they didnt have anything else for that week i also am irked @ this "sendoff"
vystral
I don't like Brannon and Braga, but let's not jump to conclusions just yet.

I just can't imagine Enterprise getting a decent send-off being written around a 'holodeck' style episode. It just seems too impersonal to me. This cast deserves better than just being portrayed as an interactive history lesson.
striker2063
It looks like B&B want to end a STAR TREK Generation with this Episode, not Enterprise. The new STAR TREK started with TNG and will end up in ENT... strange, but I'm curious. (and also disappointed, because no real Ending which focuses on the crew...afaik) Hopefully Terra Prime (the two-parter) will provide an ending which is worthy the Crew of the NX-01. That's just it......This isn't a history lesson, like "Dixon Hill" or Sherlock Holms"......History lessons are done on a holodeck. This is a simulator.......A test. A fake........Something that *MIGHT* be real.

vystral
You're reading too far into the holographic "simulator." You do realize that's probably just what they call a big holodeck, right? Aren't all holodeck programs simulated? It implies nothing about experimental things...
Guest Guest
I bet that the series is goin to end as 'it was all just a holo noval', and if they do this they can leave it wide open for the show. Other opportunities will arise from it.
ingenier03
If there is one thing all of us hate it is a good episode having to end with it being a dream. I think ending the series as a look back in time will be alright. Having the whole series be a story, horrible. Enough to make me question every Star Trek epsiode I watch from those two from now on. *Shudders in disbelief*
