To hell with it' date=' give 'em a few years and see what happens.[/quote']

The problem with that is that most fans will jump to other shows.......BSG, SG1, SGA, etc.

5 to 10 years, there won't be a Star Trek Fanbase to come back to.

:stare:

  • 2 weeks later...

I never managed to develop the loving relationship with ENT that I had with TNG, DS9, and VOY.

There were too many loose ends that didnt make sense and I didnt agree with, like firing phasers at warp in the first half of the episode Brent Spiner guested in, and the fact that they met the borg.....

Personally I want to see a DS9-era series set on a Klingon ship with a Klingon crew (ST:Klingon? lol), a retelling of the dominion war from their point of view, or maybe a 27th century one based on the 'Timeship Enterprise'....

I too did not develop a close connection with Enterprise; until I started watching all of the episodes. If its Trek, I'll end up loving it.

I used to dislike DS9, until Spike started airing it. Now I love that one too!

i was actually in loved with ST:V. more than i love ST:TNG and ST:TOS. after end game i thought theyre gonna make a special 1hr episode abt voyager's home coming. maybe a scene where it shows that the borg is still far from finish or something. i guess i was addicted then. i started watching ST:DS9 for the first time. like some of u, i used to hate it as well. theres smthing abt ST that just put me into submission. really... the show is a drug. ST:E was good at introducing things and how everything starts or develop. i guess towards the end we'll see how it ties up with all other series. A NEW HOPE.... :p
