Skippy
I can say that I was surprised when it was stated that you didn't know who he was, but then again... I guess you are not a fool for life! ;) Here is a very informative link about this Chinese moral philosopher... http://www.friesian.com/confuci.htm

A shiver of synchronicity, though. Yesterday at Barnes and Noble I found a hardback edition of my favorite Tao Te Ching, which I just had to bring home. Skippy
Golly, what I would do to have a B&N here. Not that I'm complaining, but I've been reading the same Greek philosophy books for 4 years straight. Mebbe 6 times through, cover-to-cover that is. I Love Rhetoric Book II. Soulreaper
There was a really cool book that came out in the -70s I think, called "The Tao of Physics" or something similar. Worthwile reading! "The Art of war" is also very cool, contains priceless wisdom that holds up extremely well in many different fields, especially business stuff - though I'm not promoting capitalism :D Try Marx as well - though most of it is still locked up somewhere in the old USSR secret vaults and some probably ended up as firewood in the great bookburning 60 some odd years ago.. Most people (especially if you listen too much to narrowminded history books and stubborn regims...like the US Gov..?) seem to have got a very screwed up idea about what he really said.
