law
What I wanna see is a Beat-em-up based on star trek charachters. Could be in similar style to tekken and soul caliber series. How sweet would it be to take on Warf with Kirk?? Data would own but hey its only a bit of fun... Could take it cross genre and have Luke Skywalker taking on Captain Cisco.... Sweet. psheldrake1
Definitely RPGs. I've been a D&Der for decades. RPG in realtime would be the best. It will put you onto the front lines.

foxxi
Actually, my favorite Sci Fi game would be a MMORPG/FPS genremix. Let's take.. hmm.. Star Trek for example. You'd be able to pilot a shuttle or a larger vessel with some buddies(FPS), but you can explore any planet on your feet too (Classic MMORPG Style). Ya.. I'm aware of the fact that SW: Galaxies tries to combine that with the current Jump to Lightspeed addon, but 1. I don't like the whole Star Wars universe and 2. Imho, the whole game is crap. =( Anyway, this only applies for the more "common" SciFi universes, because i think it'd be fun to explore and learn more about them. In general, I favour Adventure- or RPGs over FPS-style games, because you're done with the FPS in like 6 hours the most, while you play a RPG 20+ hours. So you get more playtime => more fun for your money.

ingenier03
There's nothing like a nice long story line to keep you playing for hours. Mini games that keep you distracted from the story line and then back at it you go. I'm a fan of the Final Fanasty's myself. Not to pleased with where its going to the internet but we shall see...
