vystral
Ok. I saw Generations in the theater when it came out. I distinctly remember a part when Geordi was captured on the B'rel class ship. The crazy guy stopped his heart to get him to talk. He spoke about how you could stop the human heart for like 6 minutes without causing brain damage. This scene is not on the DVD and no one else remembers it. Am I crazy?

vyper
No he's not. It was written into the original script, and one of the original US releases. However to get a more family suitable rating the scene was cut, along with the more agressive exchanges between him and Geordi. The line where Soren says "His heart just wasn't in it" and Crusher's reference to his treatment (involving his cardiac system) later in the movie are the only surviving references to it. If you read the book it's in there in detail. :)
vystral
Yes yes yes!!! I remember when Soran said that! I'm not crazy! :p
Vektram
Oftentimes on DVDs some of the "deleted scenes" will have been deleted after the theatre release. So if you saw it in cinemas you'll think "I got ripped!" when you buy the VHS. That's how they make more moolah. :stare:
vystral
Unless Generations has been released in special edition DVD, its not on there. I have the DVD and it has no extras. Yes, I mean NO extras. Not even a trailer.
