terr0rgasm
i was looking through a book called The Art of Star Trek and in Kirk's Cabin there are a bunch of firearms on the wall......one in particular was a Jem Haddar pistol (or maybe a rifle, i dont remember clearly) Could it be that in ST:VI the REAL Kirk was killed and the shape shifter was an early founder?? TFMF
lol Oh the possibilities :D But what's most likely is the props department reused (or copied) the design of the weapon on Kirk's wall and used it for the Jem Hadar weapon.

Arktis
Everyone knows that Kirk was a Klingon secret agent anyways. The real Kirk was a watchmaker in North America who was killed by a busload of nuns while on his way to buy fresh cheese. lol
Guest Mrthumps
Bah...the truth is that Kirk was really a timelord and when he "died" he just regenerated into a new being. ;)

Arktis
Yes. He's the being we know now as Dax. But he's still a Klingon secret agent. That's why Dax is so fond of Klingons, you know. ;)
Centurion
It's him!!! So the real Kirk has been dead for a long time, huh? I've always suspected the changeling was the one who actually survived... :p
TFMF
Actually that's a good point - was it proved the real kirk was the one who survived? (I haven't watched the movie in a while) Although it does show how easy it would be to simply replace any officer in Starfleet and kill the real one. It's a wonder Earth is still populated by Humans. Arktis
Proof? Two words: The Nexus. You can figure out the rest.
terr0rgasm
but it was IN the nexus where it showed the Jem Hadar pistol!!!
Tablet
Im oh so sorry to spoil this conspiracy bubble but it was the real kirk that survived for the simple reason that Spock placed a homing beacon on kirks back/shoulder which lead the enterprise to the planet, the shape shifter wouldnt have known about it. Sorry
Centurion
Correct me if I'm wrong, but, as part of the escape plan, didn't Kirk tell the changeling they had to leave the prison's shield to be beamed up? If so, wouldn't the changeling know, or at least suspect Kirk was carrying a beacon? Thus, couldn't have the changeling snitched Kirk's beacon during the escape in order to be transported in his place in case the Klingons didn't keep their part of the deal? Hmm... ;)
Marcroft
Martia wasn't a Changeling - but a Chameloid (no idea on the spelling) another species that could adopt different forms in what seemed to be appearence only. There is nothing to suggest that good old sensors couldn't make the distinction between the two. Also her scream kinda gives it away. Kirk would never scream. Shout yes, scream like a girl no. Zebin
I think we are thinking way too into this. Kirk is alive and the gun was made from the ashes of his enemies that he killed with his hate...duh. - Zebin
