sirdick
I'm not in America and don't know much about UPN... apart from Enterprise, what other decent shows did they do? (well, anything likely to come to the uk).

mic
every show UPN makes is loosing money with the exception of Enterprise, and they even don't advertise the show. let them die I say, let them go down as result of there stupid ego-nonsensical policies.... I hate UPN        PS..... Let may 13th live in infamy for UPN - if everybody cancels UPN subscription and than starts anti UPN campaign, ie, sending letters to sponsors/advertiser at UPN telling them you want buy any of there products as long they advertise with UPN, say each person writes about 10-15 e-mails to each of the sponsors and say 10000 of us do this - what do you think effect be? I am of the opinion with in 6 months UPN will go broke, a great result by direct action. Let them rot in hell for there evil logic...
VonHelton
Posted by JPRyan: Latest update on the status of the sets. "Hold and fold" on the sets has now become "Slash and burn". It seems the budget to take down and store the sets has been cut by Viacom by 3/4's. Viacom freeked at the cost of doing it right. This means that alot of stuff that would have been saved is now in the trash. Paramount wants those stages asap. By the way that reshoot item that was menchoned were only second unit insert shots. No main or guest cast were involved. The orig game plan was to take the main sets apart very carefully for possible reuse at some unknown date. The change now is to not save itens like flooring, neutral walls, and lesser used sets. Most of the bridge and sickbay sets were saved. As the take down picks up speed the crews are under more pressure to meet the deadline set by Paramount. Remember, every day those stages stay out of use thousands of dollars in rent money to the studio is lost. As to selling parts of the sets off to fans I am sure there are copyright, liability, control of future use, and resale issues that Paramount's lawyers are concerned about. More bad news......Sorry folks. :(
