tinpusher
put all of the files that you want to make a torrent from into their own folder and then make a torrent from the folder.
ze0ro
Is it possible to seed each torrent seperate and just seed all of them at the same time? Most users on here don't need entire seasons of the show because we've collected them randomly, story by story. I understand the ease of releasing one torrent with a season of the show, especially since niteshdw rereleases these torrents on torrentspy.com, but it'll prove rather unpopular for most fans. Recoilzed
Agreed, Oil, I would d/l Any Three Colins, Excluding: 1)Vengeance on Varos Production Code: 6V, Season 22, Story Number 139 2)Revelation of the Daleks Production Code: 6Z, Season 22, Story Number 143 And I don't need to say how much it would be appreciated, especially the work of bundling. All my single episodes posted are doing much better that many of the season uploads, based on the forums I've been reading SG1...etc. And with all the complaints on leetching... ze0ro
Hi, Does anyone have a version of The Sea Devils that matches the one Oiloncanvas uploaded? He/she went offline while over 100 leechers were getting the file. Unfortunately, we cannot get more than 99.5% of the file until he returns. It reports there is another seeder, but this user hasn't transferred a single byte of the torrent to any user since it came up. Please help us out if you can. Thank you. oiloncanvas
And i dont really like the demonoid tracker. i had uploaded 45 gigs, i kid you not, and i only got credit for 11. i followed the faq to the letter and i know what im doing on a computer, when i posted a one step at a time troublshooting i had gone through to find out what the problem was ( the tracker) it was flamed by the administrater then deleted from the posts. so i didnt get credit, my ratio is in a bad state, and when i proved beyond a dought that it was the tracker i was deleted and hopefully forgotten. now i think ive been auto banned because of my bad ratio, which is bull, because i uploaded alot more than i downloaded. so if your going to up a torrent for me do it here please, there are tons of leaches here, but at lease the tracker is right on. ze0ro
Oil, Resurrection of the Daleks has been seeded for you. It's only 320X240, sadly. But all I have...I'm looking for a better quality version, but can't find part 2. While I understand there's trouble with the tracker at demonoid, I haven't experienced any personally. Perhaps you know of another site that keeps track of ratio and bans those who maintain low ratios? I can't support users grabbing a file and then disappearing with it, as that defeats the purpose of file sharing. To be fair, I won't be downloading very much from here either...and what I do download I'll be sure to seed. One last note, oil...myself and a couple of friends are having trouble connecting to files that you are seeding. Are there any other users having this trouble? Oh yeah...recoilized already released the same version of Horns of Nimon that you have...perhaps you could seed with him so there aren't two torrents with the same files on the site? Let me know. :) Recoilized, I am ready to get The Mutants to you whenever demonoid comes up or when you are ready to transfer direct. Let me know which you'd prefer when you get a chance. And that's my rant. :) Enjoy.
SoCalWolf
Hey guys (I'm assuming). I'm pretty new at this bittorrent stuff and *really* appreciate what everyone's doing, especially with the new Doctor Who episodes and DWConfidential. As a newbie, I'm still trying to pick up on the lingo. From complaints earlier in the thread, I see there is a problem with people leaching without seeding. Is that a complaint about people downloading and then leaving immeidately (and since in general you download faster than upload you're taking more than you give) or is a problem with people downloading but not sharing new files (ie, I should download "Rose" only if I upload "Earthshock"). Right now, I don't have any episodes on my computer other than those I've downloaded so I can't really share anything new. Is that a problem? I do leave Azureus running for a while after I'm done downloading so my profile shows that I've uploaded more than I've downloaded. Is that alright? thanks. coolcat13
It has to do with people downloading then not seeding and closing the torrent leave your torrents running so that others can get the download and this frees up others to upload new stuff if even half the people would upload as much as they download it would be a help but if you can upload 2x as much thats even better
ze0ro
SoCalWolf, You don't need anything on your computer and still be a great user. If you're downloading a file (let's say Doctor Who - Rose) and then once you have it you leave bittorrent running so others can download the file from you, you're doing your fair share...pardon the pun. If you snag the file and shut it down, you become one of the users that has frustrated me to the point I am at right now. As coolcat explained, even just ensuring you upload the same number of MB/GB that you've downloaded is enough. If you can seed the file for more than 100% of what you've downloaded, that would be even better. However, many people have strict bandwidth limits with their service providers and so that cannot always be possible.

Pikmin
I have all Dr Who eps on audio and/or video (depending or whether they were junked or not). However, some are UK off-air recordings (mainly satellite stations, so they don't all have full episodic titling). I also have all of the BBC DVD releases to date (including an NTSC Key to Time boxed set) - and I'm in the UK ;) I would be happy to have a go at encoding and seeding wants/needs...so let's see if I can help. I'll take any constructive advice on formats required for the files.
