karimw786
I haven't seen any of the older Doctor Who series, but I, for one, will hate to see this new guy go. He is good actor, IMHO, but like I said I have no basis for comparison. All I can say is "I know what I hate, and I don't hate (him)." coolcat13
I refuse to flame anyone but BorisP your comments were definitely derrogatory I will leave it at that as I have better things to do than waste my time with bigotry BTW I am from the States and at least in the blue states we are more open minded than that
DoctorWhoops
Richard would be cool. He's already played the 10th Doctor in the Comic Relief comedy "Doctor Who and the Curse of Fatal Death' date='" and more recently in the animated webcast "Scream of the Shalka."[/quote'] He was dreadful in Shalka, and did not seem too interested in reprising the role if memory serves. Re; the whole "Ecclesgate" debacle click on the link. BBC Apology to Eccleston Specifically where it say's "The BBC spokesman said a mutual agreement was made between the corporation and Eccleston in January this year that the fact he was not making a second series would not be made public." I think they want a regeneration end of series to re-establish the concept in the minds of the public. The Actor touted as a replacement is David Tennant, he's in the new Harry Potter movie, and just starred as Casanova on tv. The BBC need to sell this show overseas, USA did not pick it up, but they are bound to pick up Casanova, (Period costume drama) this may make selling Dr Who with tenant in the lead a lot easier. Just my opinion of course.
Ulysses
To be honest the BBC shouldnt be relying on who they can sell it to, end of the day its the Tax payers (TV Liciencees) here in the UK that they should be paying attention to seeing as we have no choice in funding the BBC. I hope its true but it may be an internet rumor as i can not find anything official
